The Scariest Part of RE4 ??

What saves Sheva for me is that I play without the AI. Never had any problem and she kinda grew on me throughout the game.

Ashley for me was more of a pain. Well, getiing back to the topic, the part you play as her against the armaduras was pretty scary.

Come on ace. Where are you from? Don't you know racism is soooo 90's? Sheva isn't a bad character. The only bad thing about her is that she is forced onto us and she takes on too big of a role too quickly. She's one of the most beautiful female characters in the series in my opinion.

We suspect, and most hope, that it's her last game, but she might just show up again. I know, that it had better not be the kind of role she had in RE5. I mean it's okay for a real deserving character, like a Jill or even Barry, to have that huge sidekick role, but Sheva, despite use being familiar with her now, I feel like she took a few steps back. She, if she returns, has to start extra small I think.

Ashley was also in a superior game, IMO... It made her more tolerable, in my book. Plus, Ashley doesn't have a gun that she's able to waste mountains of ammo shooting at snipers with. Ugh.

Probably the "scariest" moment in RE4 is the prison sequence with the lone Regenerator that's just heavy-breathing like a douchebag. There's also the part where you play as Ashley and you have no weapons, but once you've played through RE4 a couple times you have it all memorized where she's supposed to go so it's not scary anymore. The first time I played through the Ashley part, I got pretty jumpy, especially because I didn't kill any of the ganados. I'd be using the crank, and one of them would walk into the screen with his arms outstretched... Brr.

RE4's not a scary game by any means, but I do think it had some jumpy moments.

To be honest, none of the RE games feel scary when you have memorized everything.

@HarshlyCritical welcome.. ashley's scenario was freakishly horrifying in the first try... specially those armored knights..

@Harsh: I don't believe RE4 was superior to RE5 at all. Why do you think it is? Welcome, by the way.
