Albert Wesker is RE but RE is not Albert Wesker...

I think if they do make villain, they should make it completely different from Wesker. Not only because I didn't care for the direction they were taking him, but just making a stupid carbon copy of him, would not be a good idea, not in the slightest....

I think that applies to EA mainly. All other developers/publishers have indeed played games before...just not their own.

Yeah it could, that was all just general complaints, as I didn't really have any for RE, if that is what people though those complaints were for, but I have played games with a camera that just is so uncooperative, it makes Sheva look good....

How can you not like Irvings voice.....as me and Spike have been chatting about in the videos thread...a villian don't need some bad ass voice to make him a villain....Irving does it good without sounding like a god darn robot.



Plus a big no no to brnging back a villian who is just like Wesker....we need someone different to keep it going, keep it fresh...Wesker was good but i think there could be better....oh if only they kept my fave...William Birkin...now he had amazing potential.

Yeah Irving was terrific, I only wish he was not killed off...

William was the best, terrific character, and the good thing is that they didn't overuse him, if anything they underused him, so he is still really great.

I think hearing a villian with a cool Russian or German accent would be great, like Nicholai, I loved him in Outbreak.

I scoff at this whole post. It is filled with ignorant slander. Seriously though, they need a fresh villain. They couldn't copy Dante from DMC by making Nero so they shouldn't do it with Wesker. Just because you don't like the accent of Irving's, it doesn't make his voice bad. His voice actor is the most talented I've heard in the series. Replacing him with a new voice actor would be like replacing Ozzy Osbourne with Elmo. Doesn't matter because he suffered from "Capcommustruingoodnewcharacter-itis" anyway. And your last statement holds no water.

Whats wrong with changing voice actors? Look how much of a good job DC Douglas did at doing the voice for Albert Wesker

Ricardo Irving was not that good of a villian in my opinon alhtough many would differ.

And about William Birkin, sure he may have died in RE2 but this is Resident Evil. Anything can happen, who says they can't bring him back from the dead?

Okay the next villian might be a lot different from Wesker BUT he has to be cold, calculating and bad ass.

lul, we were just having fun. Did you really think that Douglas did a better Wesker? I agree that Irving wouldn't have been a good main villain, but he could have been kept around longer. As for Bill Birkin coming back, I think they are going to leave that with Sherry.

My ideal RE villain would be...voice and mannerism wise.......just listen to that voice...a master.

Next topic. Bill shouldn't be brought back, as ridiculous as it would be for Wesker to return, it wouldn't make any sense for William to, even if they could, which Capcom can make anything happen, it would just be stupid, but they can give us Birkin in RE6 or whatever, with Sherry.

I think there are alot of great features that a villian can have, "badass" not always having to be one, I mean look at Le Chiffre from Casino Royale, he was so cool, with his inhaler and not being able to fight, unless his opponent is stripped naked and tied to a bottomless chair...

I love Lecter, but I think the voice is too similar to ones we have had, which is why I don't think it would fit with RE...

Also, @Nite, I don't want to nitpick...but Lecter always greated Clarice with "Good evening" or "Good morning"...I don't think he ever said "Hello", and I hope not, "Yellow".

In RE6 Jill could be the main protagonist who works for an organisation and the main villian in the game (maybe an old friend of Wesker) could be holding Barry Burton as a prisioner and the antagonist lures Jill into a mansion where Barry is held captive.

Sorry I just think this would be a cool idea.

Maybe Jill will show up, but in accordance with the pattern that is unlikely...as she & Chris both just had a role.

It might have to be Leon and/or Claire, or possibly someone new, or maybe someone less familiar, like Bruce or Ark or whoever....there are alot of possibilities for Capcom here.

They could bring back Rebbeca Chambers in RE6, but not Billy Cohen. I wonder if Billy is still even alive after all this time on the run (11 years).

I am guessing Billy has probably changed his identity and emigrated to Mexico and is on a beach eating Jill sandwiches, with a cocktail in one hand and a magnum in the other shooting leech zombies

A Billy return isn't really needed. He's the only "main" character in the franchise that has absolutely no connection to the plot of the games.

Yeah thats what I said. Theres no point in Billy returning unless its like some kind of reunion with Rebbeca Chambers. There woulden't be much point making a spinoff with Billy either.
