The closest thing to a RE2 remake we're ever likely to see was in The Darkside Chronicles. Even that was a confusing mess. Obviously not for buyers of that game alone, but longer term fans would frown at seeing Ada with Claire, because it's not canon. The only stuff canon about the Chronicles games was the levels that were new and not a remake. And all their new releases are badly hyped up anyway.

It looks awesome, I seen it a while back.
Yeah EBN patches are amazing, let you config your own graphics.
GTAIV supported EBN as well and modders where making next to realistic graphics for it.
I have seen videos of RE5 having superior graphics as well.
I love EBN, if you learn what to do configuring your own patches is fun and you can literally do anything you want.

I enjoy looking at mods, it makes me wish I had a PC so I could do that type of stuff. Maybe I should invest in one. But Resident Evil 5 with superior graphics? I haven't seen any mods like that.. it sounds intense.

I managed to buy some parts from newegg to build my custom PC that cost me a little over 400 and I can run GTA IV at high settings with no lag and RE5 at Max settings 1080p. And yes the parts were new.

Haha ORC. I just bought the game from steam a few days ago since it was on sale and $25 was too much for it. Not to mention the PC version is a little bit more unplayable then the console version lol.

As for a re2 remake I have been dreaming of that since remake came out back in 2002. I played re2 non stop on my n64 back in the day since I never had a ps1 so re2 was the only re game I could play if I wasn't at a friends house. I love everything about that game, especially Claire , and when I saw how remake not only had better graphics then its original counter part but more content that made me want a 2 remake so bad as I always thought there was so much more they could add to 2. Is it too much to wish thought that if this game does get made the PC version will come out at the same time as the console version lol.

Betcha Capcom will pull a George Lucas move and include the USS and Spec Ops from ORC to bridge the gap between both games.
