New render art on some of the enemies in the game. Now we know two more names for the monsters. Now we also know that Capcom is propably running out of names for the monsters.

Just pre ordered RE6 there and was reading that you get exclusive maps for mercenaries when pre ordering on different websites. One for Amazon one for Gamestop etc. Was just wondering does anyone know will the exclusive maps become available to all in the future? I pre ordered on Amazon and looks like ill be getting that shitty ship deck map. The catacombs one looks decent.
Edit: Just Checked Amazon again, says im getting all three maps? anybody know for sure whats happening?

Yeah, I really like how they cut the audio out in replacement for the piano and voice over, it was a great affect especially the last sequence with Leon and Helena.

DLC game modes for Resident Evil 6? I knew about the game modes, I didn't know what they entailed until this article came out, but one thing I was sure I didn't know was that you had to pay for these game types. All of which are kind of lame anyway.
Loving the trailer. I like that kind of style where there is soft comforting music over clips of chaos. Gives more emotion than fast paced panic inducing music. Dead Island done that as well for all their trailers. The cinematic one was better than the release though.

So, the Survivor game mode comes back. At least this time they make it seem like it's actually interesting. Hopefully they have a nice array of characters to choose from, I'd hate to see everyone playing as Leon in various outfits. That's gonna happen anyway, isn't it?
Btw. Why do I always feel like I'm the only one who likes certain games? Because I thought Dead Island was awesome. The only thing I didn't quite like was how dying is only a minor setback. You only lose a bit of your money and respawn like two feet from where you died, sometimes spawning even further than you already were. When that happens I just travel back to where I died and back again. The trailer didn't quite represent the game but aside from that, it's great.

The game didn't live up to the trailer. The trailer portrays a story driven and emotion survival horror style that game didn't deliver, that being said the game was far from bad. I mean it had a lot of glitches and problems with it but then what game with the huge sandbox style doesn't ? I for one loved the concept and idea of the game and even though the story was not the best I still enjoyed going on the quests and surviving, the game still had atmosphere. I think it's another case of people jumping on the hater-wagon because the game was original and not following a gaming trend. The DLC for it was amazing as well I must say.

So I am not a sucker for Chris and Jill but I do feel like they have been preaching this relationship to us with RE5 and Revelations. The fact that in RE5 Chris is devestated by the loss of his partner then goes into depression and then travels around the world in search of a woman who is supposed to be dead.
Then in Revelations he turns down Jessica and Parker states 'Maybe he is taken for' whilst looking at Chris and Jill. At this point yeah I am kind of routing for them now. Otherwise doesnt RE5 and Revelations just seem abit silly? If Chris isnt with Jill and turned down Jessica then I am sorry but he is gay. Two fairly fit girls and he is not interested talk about a vow of celibacy.
So with this being said if Capcom doesnt consider them to be 'partners' and she isnt involved in the B.S.A.A. anymore and she doesnt even care enough to track Chris down when he is depressed and out of his mind. Well not only does this make RE5 and Revelations look abit silly but it probably means we wont even get so much as a mention of her in RE6. I am dreading that they dont mention Jill, Sheva, Parker, Raymond, Alex Wesker, Jessica, Weskers mother and a whole bunch of questions that the previous games have set up for us. They are just going to wipe a clean slate reuse old characters to attract previous gamers and just make up some bullshit seperate story that does what??? You guessed it, adds more questions. Fantastic! Well done Crapcom so when did RE become the new Lost?

As much as I don't like ChrisxWesker, I can see why people ship them now. Seriously? Chris actually turned down that body (Jill)? I know she's a video game character and doesn't exist, but if there was someone out there with a figure like that, I doubt any straight guy would reject that. Oh well, the ChrisxJill shippers would be devastated.

I saw an xplay preview for re6 and it got me pretty excited for it finally!
I cant wait, its almost coming out too soon now. Leon's story might be the best one. Chris' is looking like my least fav. Of course Steve...or Jake Muller's anyway also looks pretty interesting. Looks fun, the physical combat he's capable of, and the running from that big ass creature. Take us right back to the good ol days of running from a pursuer, like Nemesis, the leech man from outbreak and of course the axe man[lester] from file#2. The ones that follow you all over, keep you on your toes. Am i missing any? Forest in the remake with the vest of explosives followed you around too. Think thats it.
The controls look like theyre probably better than ORC's. I hated those, anybody actually enjoy those?
Its not a matter of being able to adapt and evolve, those controls and the overall gameplay kida just sucked, mainly the spec ops shoot outs.
But yeah, im gettin re6 opening night! And Leon's 1300 dollar jacket!!! Psh, i wish.
