Resident Evil MMORPG [ Please Read ]

Okay , when i first saw resident evil 4 , i thought its like a piece of **** . I hated the graphics , cause i was used to old ones . I hated the story , and i still hate it [ save the presidents daughter gosh how lame ]

But then , when i really finished RE 4 and was used to graphics , i thought about a resident evil mmorpg .
Story would be simple - Raccoon City remains or sth [ easy story as fallout 3 has ]
You make your own unique character , customize it , choose a perk [ probably ] and go to playing .
When you advance in levels , you get to upgrade your abilities .
Simple , eh ?

But im afraid its not going to happen , because CAPCOM's not going to do it , and probably don't want to .
What i want you to do is to give your own comment about this thought.

Game like RESI would never fit as MMORPG... Hell even Final fantasy didnt, even it has more elements of becoming one

As a true MMORPG, no. Resi wouldnt work as a MMORPG. What we really need to see is a resurrection of the Outbreak sub-franchise, something i cant believe Capcom hasnt done yet.

With Xbox Live and PSN, Outbreak would be brilliant. And shove in a bunch of customization features and upgrades to satisfy those wanting a bit more of an rpg experience.

I have been hoping for a Resident Evil MMORPG forever! The closest they came to it was Deadly Silence, but they forgot to add online play for Deadly Silence!

UBCS, you should think more about your idea and share it with us. Now that I know what you mean, it would be very interesting to see what you would do with it.

What? WHAT? Deadly Silence was a DS port of the Original Resident Evil. How is it ANYTHING like an MMORPG? Unless you mean Outbreak.

I've been thinking about an Outbreak File #3, released for XBL and PSN. Character customization, new scenarios, unlockable costumes/characters, "Free Roam Mode" all this stuff.

hey thats not a bad idea never thought about it until now and final fantasy is going to come out with another mmorpg i think its ff14 im not sure tho

Yep it is 14. They already had a trailer of it at E3 lol. It will be a PS3 exclusive too so that's cool.

yep final fantasy 13 and 14 are coming out in the same year 2010 cant wait
