Resident Evil 1 Remake

I think Resident Evil 1 Remake to this day holds it crown as being the best RE gamer ever made. Call me arrogent but I almost know it is the best RE game ever made in the history of the series. No RE game has ever been able to touch RE1 Remake in terms of horror, classicness and pure suspence.

I can always look to this forum to get a nice chuckle ...but anyway REmake looks great but I have yet to try it...it is for the Gamecube after all

Playstation 3 is just the obvious choice for best console now.

I've never been a Playstation man myself, although I do own a PS2.

I fancy the Xbox and the Wii, both of which I own.

A lot of X Box owners are gullible and stupid, I own an X Box myself but I am not obssesed with like some of my friends are. I think the Wii is just as good

Well I don't know about all that, but I do like my Xbox, it is black and has plenty of space, allowing me to play my games.

The Wii nice too, some games like Brawl, Smash Bros that is, and the Chronicles series, are definately worth it.

I would like a PS3 though, for MGS4.

I just wish nintendo would release a console that could play DVDs.

About the XBox. Well I say from experience that all of my friends are avid X Box fans and there into the same type of games like Gears of War. Very rigid and a lot of my friends have never even heard or care for Resident Evil. What did annoy me a bit is that they did not care about Resident Evil 5 even though the gameplay is similar to Gears of War with online gameplay as well.

That would be a miracle. An amazing miracle...so many times I have wanted to play a DVD on my Wii.

I haven't played Gears, although I don't know how similar it is to RE5...I doubt that much.

A bit, although I have introduced the series as a whole to several people...well at least 3 or 4, and some of them have gotten really into it. Makes me smile.

For some reason it just does not seem to be as big as other game series like counterstrike and even Half Life. Don't know much about these games though.

I must admit though I am quite shallow and only really into resident evil and silent hill. Resident Evil is my favourite over Silent Hill even though its not as scary.

Yeah, I know what you mean, it is definately a bit of an underdog. Although with the games, movies, novels, and figures, it is only getting bigger.

I am an RE fan to the end, although I do leave room for other stuff too, like a life. Also 007, and Star Wars, etc.

If you could take a wild guess why do you think the RE series is a bit less well known and an underdog?
