| In RE5 Lost in Nightmares(hereby referred to as LIN), the documents introduced a character named Alex. He was someone close to Ozwell Spencer, and had been working on creating the virus that would make Spencer a god(as he hated his old and mortal body). Apparently Alex & all of the researchers on the island had dissapeared...
This alone really leaves us hanging, but what makes this a real fingernail-biting cliffhanger, is the list we see on the computer, which shows the names of all of the Wesker Children from that lame project.
013 is of course Albert Wesker, which I think most of us knew, but Child #012 is Alex. Certainly an Alex Wesker, so this is something that could reappear in a future RE game, perhaps a new antagonist(so no one can complain about not having any villians left), or Capcom could leave us hanging like with Sherry...
What do you think about all of this? |

| Don't like the idea of a female antagonist like Sherry. Yes I am being sexist. |

Alex is a male character, I think, now I need to go back and read those documents. Pretty sure it is a guy though. Also, I would love to see Sherry, although I always assumed it would be in a role kind of like Jill had in RE5, being controlled, perhaps some anger towards Claire(and indirectly Chris) for not coming back for her as she had promised, plus the anger about her family(Will & Annette) being killed. That could definately work into a great plot. I always though the "bird lady" in RE5 could have been Sherry, all the way up until I saw her unmasked. |

Yes, Spencer did say that, "Of them only one survived...you". However, Spencer wasn't exactly the most trustworthy guy, *what*, I know right, he seemd like such a straightshooter...but I think it is fair to say that Spencer was holding back on some info, maybe only telling Wesker what he though he needed to know. Or it could be that Spencer doesn't know what happened to Alex, he just dissappeared... And by Wesker you mean Albert right Jamesy? He had better not, I would not be pleased with something like that... |

yeah but jamesy the series would lose alot of credibilty if he did. i dont mind him appearing in flashbacks or a new game which happened before re5 but as much as i love wesker i definitely dont want him to return AGAIN |

Darkside Chronicles is a prime example of how Wesker could show up again in future games. That was a really tastefully done role for him. Not much dialogue at all, just two lines actually(although they were DC Douglas), it was pretty much just seeing him. But back to Alex, Jamesy you referred to him as possibly being a poor mans Albert...I don't think he has to be anything like Al, in fact I hope he would be entirely differrent. They can do something really cool with this character I think. Even make it someone who realistically would be performing backflips and barrelrolls to avoid bullets, because it sure as hell didn't fit Albert to do that stuff. In the RE5 flashback to the Spencer Estate, that was the one part of that scene that I can't stand, seeing Wesker fliping around in mid-air to dodge...so lame, especially since it wouldn't actually keep him from getting hit, he would have a better chance of getting hit in the air, than if he were on the ground dashing to the sides... |

| Yeah I know the whole matrix Wesker thing was not true to his character at all. Wesker really lost his sense of mystery in RE5 compared to previous installments he appeared in. |

The mystery wore off pretty much by CVX actually. I mean if you watch the Wesker's Report, and read the Wesker's Report II, there isn't much left to question. The only mystery left would be what Wesker's intentions were by the time of RE4. RE5 did tack on that poor excuse for a backstory, really unnecessary, and that certainly took away alot of stuff that should have been left to the imagination... |

Mastermind for sure, pulling strings from behind the scenes, second only to that of Spencer himself. |

He did his evil laugh in Code Veronica, even had an evil chuckle in RE0, of course CVX's ending had that awesome laugh right after him & Chris vowed that their next meeting would be their last. Assignment Ada had definately perfected it. |

| Yeah and what is interesting as well is that Wesker kept his Samuri edge gun from the original resident evil and used it in RE5 against Chris and Sheva. |

That was cool, except it would have been cooler if he had been using that in UC, rather than Leon's custom pistol, with a silencer... |

To unlock it you have to beat the game in under 5 hours, which isn't that hard if you play through knowing exactly what to do. |

| My favourite guns are the magnun. Although that said not a big fan of that shotgun type of magnun you unlock in RE5. |

Not sure what a magnun is. And that shotgun you unlock isn't a magnuM, it's a shotgun. |

| You know what I am talking about Nite, the magnun gun like the one Barry uses. And the new mangun you unlock is the really huge one which has bad aiming. |
