It appears there will be a Raid mode or something very similar at least!

That was a good article. I was already expecting a minigame mode because let's face it, that's one of the things RE games have been known for since the beginning. They also seem to promise fan favorite characters for the said extra mode so expect at least HUNK to be playable.

HUNK has made a lot of extra content appearances so I would not be surprised! Three that it is safe to say will be in it is Claire, Moira and Barry.

Also of note, regarding the Afflicted he said, "It is a whole different process that got them to they way they are". They are not infected and they do not contain a parasite one could assume from that answer. This makes me think we will be seeing a new antagonist again, because this method is so different than anything a baddie in the series has done so far. It seems far more twisted than experimenting with a virus or parasite. (OKAY Survivor was pretty twisted)

Who else do you (peeps) think could be playable? I agree that Barry is a safe bet since he has a connection to the game and has been present in the Mercenaries mode for two previous titles. Also, much like with RER, I think the bad guy will also be playable.

So I called that in RE6 Sherry would get an alt. costume that was her outfit in RE2.
Maybe.... HOPEFULLY we will get Claire RE2 or CVX outifts not her modernized Darkside Chronicles crap. Even though she does look good in them, her old outfits are cooler to me (:

I honestly don't remember any of the files in the game I kind of just powered through it because I thought you could save the game and kept trying to find a typewriter. It was also in the middle of the night and my short "let's try this game out" session became a full playthrough so I may not have paid full attention outside of cutscenes. Didn't play it afterwards because the copy I had was pirated and I didn't have a modded Playstation myself.

That one is pretty freaky, though.

It just got to 100%, so expect to see BSAA costumes! Excitement!

You are right! It was not all of them. It was the T-103 models; the Mr. X's with Nemesis included.

I read about Raid Mode yesterday. I'm ecstatic that its returning because it was great in the first Revelations! To touch on the characters that will make an appearance, here's who I think will be in it.

-Claire Redfield
-Moira Burton
-Barry Burton
-Jill Valentine
-Chris Redfield
-HUNK

I want to say that Parker and Jessica may make an appearance, but I'm not sure if they will. And of course, who ever else is in Revelations 2 will be playable.

Capcom has already announced that this game is going to have a differnt cast than Rev. 1 and that the stories are not related.

BUT they did say in a recent interview that we would certainly be seeing some familar faces.

Yep, Ssplain posted that article on the previous page. That's why we are discussing who could appear in the Raid mode I doubt they'd break conventions with any lesser known characters, though. Rebecca's propably the furthest they'd go. It'd be nice if they asked people who they want to play as.

The producer said the stories won't be connected, that means that the cast of the first game won't be involved in the story for Revelations 2. That doesn't rule out the possibility of them being playable in the bonus modes, such as Raid Mode. An example, Chris isn't in Resident Evil 2, but he's still featured in the bonus mode. Hunk isn't in Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil: Revelations, but he's still featured in the bonus modes.

I do believe that Jill and Chris will be in Raid Mode, due to them being the main protagonists of the first Revelations. They'll most likely be DLC characters.

Revelations 2 will be a lot different than the first one. The stories are not connected at all.

I think it's Barry too. It even shows him talking to Moira in the live action teaser trailer. If it is Barry, I wonder why they didn't announce him from the start? Maybe Capcom wanted players to get excited for Claire first?
