Possibility for a new Wii U title

If it has past characters who didn't get an explanation about what happened to them I'd be in.

Barry? Rebecca?

I'd love to see either of those two, although Barry is likely retired now. After that ill-fated role in Gaiden, who could blame him?

But anyway, I'd be up for seeing Billy Coen again or even Carlos.

If it's really Revelations all over again, that's the very reason why we can be quite relaxed. If there's one lesson to be drawn from RER and RE6: while Capcom's exclusivity shenanigans are so infamous that it's basically a Capcom meme, by now they do end up bringing each (canon) game to basically every console. RER coming to PS3 and XBox360. RE6 coming to WiiU. RE0 and RE5 defy this assumption, I acknowledge, but that was pre-RER and pre-RE6, and they seem to have learnt.

It depends, of course, on how comprehensively they'll use the capabilities of the WiiU and consequently how portable it will end up being. But as RER has shown, or is retro-actively showing now, they could have just as well launched it on any other platform, since they only used the touchscreen to host the menu, and 3D is entirely dispensable anyways.

Say Mass, didn't you say ORC2 might be the Wii U title? I remember you mentioning it in another thread.

And damn, sucks for us that bought a 3DS, now that RER is coming to a console near you...

That and also ports of RE6 and RER.

You know, the source did in fact say "Resident Evils", in plural. Makes sense to me if it's already going to have three titles.

Whatever we get, I'm probably most anxious to play that stuff with Claire in RE6! That actually sounds pretty interesting. 10 bucks she has to babysit another brat in her campaign.

They probably don't even lurk in THIA. But they used to get mad at reHorror for their leaks.

I don't own a Wii U, but based on what I've seen so far, the graphics look pretty nice. I wouldn't mind seeing a RE game appear on the Wii U. As long as it's not part of the actual main series/main plot of RE, then im fine.

Looks like I should set aside some money for a Wii U then, Revelations was awesome and that justiifed me buying a 3DS.

How was Revelations exactly? I never actually got around to playing it.

It was awesome, check the review thread there is a review of it written by me.

Well I ended up getting a Wii U for Christmas anyways, so bring on the Resident Evil!!!

That's how I used to feel about having a 3DS. Now RER will be ported to console. Nice.
