| There has been some talk about "on-disc DLC" with RE6 lately. Well, fret not as all that stuff already on the disc is completely free. You read that right.
In an upcoming update you will get a new difficulty setting, even above Professional, called No Hope Left. How brutal is that, I have no idea.
The other thing you'll be getting is an optional partner for Ada, in case you want to play through her scenario with your buddy. The update will also unlock the Ada campagin for those who get the game after the update.
Now, there's still those extra modes (Survivors, Predator & Siege) promised for 360 users and the extra DLC maps for Mercenaries to be released later but none of that is on-disc so there's no need to complain about that anymore.
The extra costumes found in the game's code will most likely be unlockable through RE.net at some point. |

I'll believe it when I see it. |

| Not to be the bitter guy(cause I'm not) but the fact that it's big news that Capcom is giving us on disc content for free just shows how bad this dlc business has gotten. However, I will say it's a step in the right direction. A tiny step but a step nonetheless.
Now, give us some free mercs maps!!!!
A partner for Ada? She's never had a partner. Who could it be? |

| Hmm free dlc is awesome but with that difficulty upgrade does it come with a trophy to get? Because if it doesn't what's the worth in downloading it if your not awarded for it by beating it on that difficulty? And i agree with known_hero because only 3 merc maps is kinda boring in my honest opinion! RE5 had more maps then that alot more actually if i remember right |

Yeah, I can't get it to work either. The website doesn't like my Safari browser. @Mercy That's a good guess; I didn't think of that. I just don't see this working well. Ada's campaign is structured around SP style gameplay. Lore wise: Ada likes to work alone. The last thing she wants is some lackey tagging along while she's trying to do her thing. |

They will be 360 exclusives for limited time. They'll be available for PS3 a few weeks later. - RaviorStygian wrote:

How exactly do you unlock him? Unlock all the other characters and their alternate costumes. After the last one you will get him. |

Maybe you have to A rank every one of them too? Like, including the alternates. If not, then I guess it's time to get the recolours. |

| Go to http://residentevil.net/ and go to the Support FAQ. At the top of the FAQ there's a "Contact Form" button. You should be able to access all this without registering. |

| How is this seen as positive in any way?
If It's on the disc, a disc I have paid hard earned money for, I should already have access to that content. |

The only thing positive in this situation is that capcom FINALLY realized that on disc dlc is wrong. It's the equivalent of a drug addict admitting that they have a habit. It's the first step. And like a drug addict, every step in the right direction needs to be praised in order to continue progress. |

Yeah, but now they're putting that DLC on a faulty website that only works when it feels like it, and for some people that's never. |
