PSN Free Stuff!

Hey, so anyone in North America who was affected by the PSN fiasco recently can take advantage of the PSN Welcome Back Program. After the PSN is back up, not sure when it will be, or if it already is, you can log in and get a bunch of nice stuff. Everything is laid out here: http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/9087.html

At Mass: I know you aren't in North America and I'm not sure if this stuff applies to you, but if you haven't already, I would make a NA account. You should be able to. Hell, I have a European and a Japanese account. (Navigating the Japanese account is not easy. )

PSN itself is back up, the store just won't be online until the end of the month from what I've heard.

As great as a free game sounds, nothing there really piques my interest.

For the games, I'll get inFAMOUS (I played it but never beat it, and it would be fun to have it for free time) and Dead Nation. I think Dead Nation looks pretty fun.

Dead Nation and Super Stardust for me! I'm pretty sure we all get the same stuff but if not, I'll make a seperate account. Thanks for the info, Nite.

I think its the same for Eruope. I already have Dead Nation and I love it so its Infamous and LBP for me and ill download the killzone one for psp to give it a go.

I'm gonna get that game about the Oragami killer.

So what happened to those V guys?

V? Or is that the Roman numeral five? Heavy Rain is very good. Very cinematic.

Heavy Rain, that's the one. I played a bit of it at one point, a demo I think. To say that game is Very Cinematic is an understatement.

V, as in V For Vendetta. Those hackers wearing the V masks.

Also, did you know Hugo Weaving is V? He's also Elrond & Agent Smith.

He's a great actor. I love V for Vendetta. Also, that group's name is Anonymous. And I really don't think they were behind it. I haven't seen them even be accused. They are a great group though.

I remember seeing a pic of like 4 guys with V masks....and there was some story about hackers on PSN or something....

I guess I didn't pay too much attention as a 360 owner.

Spike, Heavy Rain is a PS3 exclusive, do you have a ps3???

Not yet, but when I do, that game will be on my list.

Spike if your serious about sticking to Lara croft them shame on you, you will be missing out on alot. Drake is like a mix of Lara croft, Indiana Jones, James Bond all rolled into one.

And filled with epic sauce.

And there's Sully. Everybody loves Sully.

We get the same thing but Super Stardust is replaced by Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty. Damn it...


Btw. the mask in V is called Guy Fawkes mask. Anyways, Anonymous has stated that they are not behind the thing as they would never do anything to hurt the users.

Yeah im pissed off about that as i was going to download it. Any news on when the store is back up?? Also do we get these games for each account or is it for each console ?

What they claim is irrelevant, the fact of the matter is that they did hurt the users by attacking PSN in the first place. They may have been responsible for the attack that has had it down this long and they might not have, there's no concrete proof either way. But because they're the root cause of it all, they bear moral responsibility. But being the cowards that they are, they won't take any of it. I don't care what Anonymous claims it fights for, they're a terrorist organization.

Didn't anonymous just attack the site? Is there any proof they started the attack on PSN?

GL: If you believe at all that Anon is a terrorist organization, then you have to admit that they did not do it. The number one goal of terrorist organizations is publicity. They want and need people to know that they are responsible. They are trying to send a message and they cannot do that when people don't think it is them. That's just how terrorist orgs work. And remember that one person's terrorist is another's freedom fighter. Anon has never been shown to physically hurt a single soul.

Whoa! He'll never be as cool as James Bond. At least not Connery or Brosnan.

He might give Daniel Craig a run for his money though.

It looks alright, but just doesn't interest me. I'm certainly not going to go out of my way to play it, but if I just convientantly have it in front of me at some point, I'd give it a go.
