Anyway does anyone know if we get any preorder bonuses. I put my $5 down for it and I wasn't told about getting anything special.
I think the pre-order bonus was three extra Mercenaries maps.
EDIT: Just checked. They're called Catacombs, High Seas Fortress and Rail Yard. Here's a linky-link: [da link]

Of course you only get one of those maps depending on where you pre-order it.

That blows... Now why go and split off the maps so one would have to order the game 3 separate times to acquire them all? I really like the High Seas Fortress from the looks of it. But that Rail Yard doesn't look half bad either. Maybe the Catacombs. Not sure now where I should go and which map I should aim for. This really sucks.

This only means that they're free when you pre-order. I'm fairly certain that they will all be available as DLC when the game launches.

From the videos I see, Character movements are more fluid than RE 5.I find two inventories...WTH.I don't know how they are used as i only saw some youtube video.I jus find the series take another turn on "action".Well i got nothin to complain as i am a happy camper with the direction as RE 4 and RE 5.Also i find chris meleeing the hell out without firing a single bullet. So ORC seems to have influenced a bit on the devs. Also characters can turn around and we could see their face which i guess is to answer cries of noobs who can't live through generic third person shooter angles. I won't complain but think it is not necessary. So turning around would now turn the character around but not to the other side of the map. So how do we turn around swiftly now?Do we have an option or is it like ORC?

I can't find the article right now but they said something about each character having a different inventory. Not sure how accurate this is, though.

Just a quick post again. A new gameplay video will be released today. Of who? I don't know. Hopefully more Chris or Jake. But, it was reported here: www.facebook.com/residentevil
No time was set yet or where you could watch the video though.

I posted this earlier. I only see one inventory button.
Was this whole thing about two simultaneous inventories? I'm confused.
Because like I just mentioned, I heard something about each character having their own kind of inventory.

Ah, so THAT'S what you meant. Seems like it's just the weapon inventory and the item inventory.
Btw. I was still right with the "different character, different inventory" as Chris' seems to be totally different from Leon's.

Previously, as in RE 4 and RE 5, We had both weapons and ammo in the same inventory. But now they are split. Does this mean we can carry a lot of ammo? Also the slots for weapon inventory seem to be filled right from the start. Does this mean we can't carry new weapons? Is this "Weapon" inventory even customizable?

This is just demo footage so it'll most likely change. I don't think we should jump into conclusions from this.

Oh no. Look at the controller picture again. The D-Pad is used to quickly switch weapons and grenades. The inventory appears so you know what weapon you're choosing. You open up your detailed inventory by pressing Y. You can do more in there than you can in the quick cycle.

Yeah but the footage i showed did not show any weapons in the detailed inventory which made me think there were two seperate inventories.
Edit: Also the deeper inventory looks spacious as RE 4 with more slots to carry a lot of ammo which is good news to me.

Actually when you hit your deeper inventory you can go to your weapons by hitting rb. X to combine, and Y to exit. When you pause at 5:45 you can see at the bottom there's a key for your navigation around the inventory.
And yes for each character the inventory looks different, but it's all essentially the same thing.
Edit: Also the deeper inventory seems to have 9 slots, plus however many weapons you're carrying. Hopefully you can upgrade and get more slots as you progress.
