| Awesome. I would take Remake as my favorite. Basically its what RE is all about. And I plead guilty on not even beating Jills game, I tried it once, but it was so god damn easy that I stuck with my man Chris. Anyway, nothing beats the horror of the Spencer mansion, when I was a kid I always wondered how Chris was so brave , like I was screaming at the screen for him to stay with Rebecca in the room instead of saying ´Ill continue my investigation´ lol. The puzzles are great, you cant beat the surroundings and the graphics have aged great. Theyre still on par with most wii games lol. REmake is my favorite RE game. |

| I chose REmake. It's really a tie between REmake and RE1, but if I must choose only on, it is REmake for the extra canon stuff. Which games have you played/beaten Winters? |

OLD STUFF RE0 REmake RE2 RE3
I'm working on CVX.
I've only played a little out of OB
But otherwise I've also beaten RE4 and RE5. |

| What do you mean by OB games? Spinoffs? I've never seen the term OB used before. |

| I don't understand all the hype with REmake. It was a fun update with a few cool new things thrown in but that's it. I still say the original PSOne Resident Evil is the true canon to the beginning of the series |

that makes no sense. Obviously REone is the original, without it REmake wouldnt exist, hence the term REMAKE. And to me it was a horrificly fun experience, one I enjoyed more than the rest. Its not hype. Its personal preferance. |

| I'd say RE2 gets more hype. And obviously RE4. I just love the story and setting of the original. And the STARS members are all great. |

| I don't like playing it that much. I don't know why.
It must be that I like the main games too much. |

It must be that I like the main games too much. I probably wouldn't lke Outbreak too much either, if I got my ass munched on by zombies as much as you did either. It's really fun, especially if you've played RE2 and RE3 and can appreciate all the similarities, locations, characters, music, etc. The horrid gameplay is something we all have to get used to though.. |

| It seems ok. I just need more time to play it. I do suck at dodging zombies though.. |

| I guess I'm kind of like a movie fan in that I can't go past the original being the best. While ReMake is subjectively a better game because of graphics and additional areas to explore...the Original may always be the one I'd pick.
Seeing that hunter scale through the outside area to meet me at the door in the mansion, the angst the yawn provided everytime I battled it, those damn paintings on the wall which i had no idea what to do with the first time I played it, the buzz i got out of looking out the window of the spencer mansion and seeing a H-pad that could potentially help me escape from the madness, the feeling I got when I went into the laboratory and wondering if I'd ever beat this game...
I could go on and on about how amazing I thought this game was back in 97 or 98 and how it turned me into a fan for life.

| There is a certain nostalgia playing RE1, that you can't get with the REmake.
The music is probably the biggest thing I can think of. The VA is another thing.
The original is superior to the REmake in quite a few ways...that's such a tough call. |

The original is superior to the REmake in quite a few ways...that's such a tough call. Music is a big part of what made all old RE games amazing...kind of like FF7. I get that boss battle theme stuck in my head regularly. Music can set the mood of what a game is trying to portray beyond what compliments of the music can explain. A really good off topic thread could cover this if it's ever been created. I still absolutely love the chemical zone theme on Sonic 2... |

| i love REmake to death, i still play it today, but the original will always be with me as the best because that game is what got me into gaming, and the voice actors always make it a memorable experience. |

| I would love to play the original actually, I saw a few gameplays and the mansion is far from REmake. Which is cool if you ask me, I would like to have the experience of roaming the mansion that way. With a few rooms different compared to REmake |

| Nothing beats the original,RE1. But the Graphics is suck. That's the only problem, but the Gameplay is sick, nothing but the best. But the REmake is damn awesome too. Cause of it's Graphics are fully enhanced, and there's a lot of place to explore. I used to play REmake. But still RE3 is my choice, also CVX. |
