Probably because Batman is so awesome that even Marvel fanboys want him.

It really depends on the writer and comic.

I'm guessing you don't read comics.

I don't read comics much at all, but I've always seen DC as more dark than Marvel myself. Marvel seems a bit more lighthearted in general.

Well Avengers was really light because they knew it was going to be a hit and families were going to see it. Though the Dark Knight was almost equally popular, Nolan didn't hold back on what he wanted. There was still Dark Knight bobble heads with your pops cereal.
Comics wise, writers and artists jump from company to company. Loeb and Sale are popular for their Batman and Spider-Man team ups for example.

I was talking about comic books, not the films. Spiderman and X-Men combined are still not as dark as Batman.

Yes, agreed on that matter. And All-Star Western has is pretty mature as well.

I do read comics that's why I said that. I find marvel darker but I agree with what nite saint it depends on the writer and the comic.

Well Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale as I said did both Batman and Spider-Man. I haven't read Spider-Man Blue, but I'm pretty sure that Batman: The Long Halloween is 10x darker than Blue.
Same writer and artist, different material, different tones, DC came out darker.

I'm not denying that. Batman is darker than that but I was mainly talking about in general. They both have dark and light side it's all in the art and writer.

In general? What series are you talking about that makes you think Marvel is darker?

I'm sorry, I didn't get anything out of this post. It looks like a mess of letters and words and is illegible.

I don't think Batman has ever shown dead prostitutes. And this is the censored version.
From All-Star Western.
I know most marvel characters kill villains like Wolverine while Batman and Superman refuse to kill, but that doesn't mean their villains aren't twisted.

Who was it that said that when supervillains want to scare eachother, they tell Joker stories? Batman himself is not that dark. It's his environment and "social circle" that make the series dark.

Did you hear about the possible new actor for Batman? I can't find an article on that for the death of me but it was on the radio today.
Btw. That video was hilarious.

No, I only heard rumors. I heard about Michael Fassbender, which was probably the only one that excited me.

Hmm, I've never heard that one before.
Mass, you gotta keep your eyes on the road.
And damn, right when I was starting to like Bale as Batman...
They better bring back Mr. Freeze. Batman And Robin would have been a flop if it wasn't for Arnold. IDK who else could play a good Batman/Wayne. Or a good 007 anymore.
