Best Console for RE

That's relative, if we talk strictly about RE games you can play them with the classic controller or with the gamecube, even RE4, the chronicles are fps so it's played with the wiimote, but it is enjoyable.

I was about to give up on the wii beacuse of its controls too, but I began playing only classic controller wii games (monster hunter tri, xenoblade, last story, etc.), gamecube games, and I added a ton of virtual console games (althogh I soft-modded it to be able to do that)

All are great but for me its RE5 on Xbox360

Gamecube/Wii all the way, I actually love the gamecube controller especially with RE games......following that would be 360. To tell the truth I'm not a hugh fan of the PS2 controller and it makes playing outbreak and dead aim a hugh turn off :s

PLAYSTATION 1!!!!!! simply the best console 4 RE for me atleast beacause RE 1 - survivor are my favorite RE games. great classic feel. and its jus awesome to play the old school RE games on there late at night, alone, in the dark and not to mention having the PS1 RE games sealed make great collectbles

You can play those games on the PS2 and 3 too along with a lot of other games. Gamecube has ports of 1-3 too.

yea i knew dat. but knowing that those games were originally ment for PS1, u get the ultimate classic feeling to it wen u do play it on that old piece of shit lol, those games lose their touch wen u play them on gamecube/wii, not really on PS2, 3 but still.

PS1 is no old piece of shit. I just finished Director's Cut on mine.

PS1 and N64 are the best consoles ever.

I especially agree with the latter. First console I ever owned.

PS1 is pretty awesome too. Although almost every game that I love on it are CAPCOM games. Especially Mega Man. Mega Man is friggin' awesome. Every kind, too.

So ive mentioned that i got a 3ds. ive got mercs3d too. basically its just mercs characters and stages, but its still super fun. 8 characters that we've seen before, and claire. krauser and hunk are pretty ownage. becca was one of my favs in reunion but shes no good in this one. no striker and her handmade flamethrower melee is replaced. i like the controls though. you can move while aiming, reloading, ect. it works just like re should. the revelations demo was nice too. i know gl would appreciate it. anyway, thats my review.

gamecube. the gc controller just feels great, with a slight learning curve, but the consistency from game to game is winning. also, not a big deal but theres a faster frame rate than the ps1. not too noticable, but its the little things that count.

Damn. thats my bad. its using this 3ds, it limits me in ways. perhaps nite wouldnt mind fixing it, i cant do anything short of deleting, and its such a fine post...

Gamecube & PS3 and DC. I really love the GC controller on RE games..

Playstation 1/2/3.

Now we only need to get REmake and RE0 on the PS3.

Remake alone makes the GC my favorite RE console.

Was there any RE games for the N64 other than RE2?

I liked it when the RE games were on the Gamecube, it felt like such a good fit for those games to be on that system.
