| On the list of "greatest consoles I never had" NeoGeo is pretty high. Well, with the company's revival they are now taking on the portable market with NeoGeo Portable Device (NGPD). Some of you might remember their previous try on the handheld market, NeoGeo Pocket Color. The new handheld has a 4.3 inch screen, 2 GB of storage and a 2200 mAh battery. The system has 20 built in games and an SD card slot for future releases, possibly through the NeoGeo Station on PSN. The games already provided with the NGPD are: - WORLD HEROES
- ULTIMETE 11
- TOP PLAYER'S GOLF
- SENGOKU
- NAM-1975
- MUTATION NATION
- LAST RESORT
- KING OF MONSTERS
- FRENZY
- CYBER LIP
- FATAL FURY SPECIAL
- ART OF FIGHTING
- SUPER SIDEKICKS
- LEAGUE BOWLING
- METAL SLUG
- MAGICAL LORD
- BASEBALL STARS PROFESSIONAL
- SAMURAI SHODOWN
- KING OF FIGHTERS '94
- FATAL FURY
Have some pictures: I don't know about you guys but I'm going to get this. Unless it's horribly overpriced, that is. [source] |

| The thing is finally coming! The only downside is that it's horribly overpriced, with £500 in UK and $800 in US. Holy crap. [source] |

| Both of Neo Geo's previous handhelds were failures. I see this one being the same. |

| Retro is still in so I wouldn't bet on that. People also seem to be eager to get their hands on a new NeoGeo.
The only reason those consoles failed was because of the horrible price and.... You know, you might be right. |

| Well, it sure does look like a cute handheld, but I'm sad to say that I've never heard of a NeoGeo before now.. |

| I've heard of Neo Geo, I've always wanted to add an AES and Neo Geo CD to my console collection. Pretty much every Neo Geo game is a fighting game, amirite?
I really hope this portable console does really good, maybe we'll see them make a new console system altogether if they generate a profit. |

| The also had lots of shooters and shmups.
I'm guessing the handheld market is safer than the console market nowadays, there's not much of a chance for a new competitor unless either Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo drop out. Which, obviously, isn't gonna happen anytime soon. |

They weren't worth the ridiculous amount of money the charge for a subar handheld/console. For the price(reporting $800) you can purchase a Vita, ipad and probably a used 3DS(hell even a used DS is better). It comes with like 20 games that were cutting edge in like 1994. |
