| I made an achivement topic on another forum cos they already had a confession topic and figured I'd just merge those both as one nifty thread here on REF. If you want these to be seperate, do tell and I shall split the topic. Ahem... So, let's get to the point.
Achievements: What are your proudest moments in gaming? From getting Platinum on that extra hard game to beating the Elite Four with just one Pokémon, everything goes. Feel free to compliment other's and gloat on your own!
Confessions: Is there something you as a gamer are ashamed of? Tell us your darkest secrets and unpopular opinions here!
Just remember to differentiate the achievements from confessions so we don't think you're just extremely bipolar. I'll post mine in the near future.

| Achievements -proudest moment was when I performed a fatality in MK 1 in front of friends. That was back in the day where gaming mags were the only source of info for video games. None of my friends knew any of the fatality combinations. The fatality was Johnny Cage's foot to chest impale maneuver(bloodless super nes version). My friends were in awe. I was TEH MAN that day -most impressive feat was playing games for 24 hours(knock off a couple mins for eating and bathroom use). I performed that miraculous feat when I was a kid during summer break. I can't remember which games I was playing but it was on the PS1. That shit gave me a pretty bad headache on the following day. Confessions -Saddest moment was when I masturbated to a Chun Li picture in a magazine. Yup, I was a loser back then. Now, I masturbate to porn chicks like a regular person |

| Okay, now that I've thought of a few things... Achievements:I got past level 99 in Asteroids. This was when I was trying to see if the game actually continues past that. It did. Got so good at Tetris Mania that I'm still playing the same game after months of starting it on my cellphone. Haven't used the possibility to store blocks either, even though the game has that option. I think I've gotten to a point where the blocks won't go any faster. Beat a rank 68 player in BlazBlue online in my first ever match. He ragequit on me by propably shutting his system down before the "You Win" screen appeared. Never got those EXP points but I know someone, somewhere, propably died a little bit inside. Getting my characters over level 200 in Disgaea 2. Being actually worth something in SHMUPs and bullet hell shooters. For example, I've beaten Strikers 1945 II on all 10 difficulty levels multiple times. Confessions:I have a problem with buying games. Whenever I see a good deal I just can't pass it if the game is even moderately interesting looking. I hate unboxing videos yet I have made one myself. In which I rant about people who do unboxing videos. How ironic. Link to stupidityI have never once played a Zelda game more than 5 minutes nor do I plan to. That 5 minutes was the first one on NES and I ended up just watching it as a Let's Play. I have loads of RPGs and I love playing them, yet I have never finished one because of various reasons. No, not even Pokémon. I collect fighting games and say I'm a fan but I'm only playing them casually. I don't even have an arcade stick, though I propably should get one. I love pony games D: Some people say I'm a videogame hipster. I think it might be true. ...help me... |

| Of course the ones listed here are only the ones that I remember.
Achievements
I beat Lance on my first try in Pokemon Crystal.
I marathoned Ocarina of Time once, making it all the way to the Fire Temple, I believe. Either that or it was after beating the Forest Temple. Anyway, I did it in what only felt like a few hours (four maybe). It was on a school night, too. Pretty sure I finished it the next day.
I once beat Rampage 2: Universal Tour, one of the most repetitive games you could ever play. It's an awesome game, though.
I have pretty much mastered about 98% of all traditional Mega Man games (mainly Classic and X). Well, by mastered I mean I can beat them proficiently, not so much pixel perfectly where I can waste zero time and take no damage. I can almost do that with X2, but you know.
I'm somewhat of a pro with Sonic 2006, a game that's very hard to do well in due to bad controls, design, and glitches. I've S ranked EVERYTHING in that game (except for some of the craptacular DLC that are there for bragging rights). This took a very long time, and I admit that I used a lot of video guides, but it still required a crap ton of patience. The game isn't what I would call "user friendly".
The uber high score I got with HUNK in RE4 Mercs. It's friggin' huuuuge, and I doubt I will ever beat it.
The first time I got a 150 combo in RE5/RE6 Mercs.
When my friend Brandon and I played all the way through RE5 in one day. Awesome day!
I once killed an Executioner that then proceeded to explode next to another Executioner, killing that one as well. This was on Mercs 3D.
I got 6th place in the entire world in Crisis City Act 2 in Sonic Generations.
I guess this deserves some honorary mention, but I beat the Spongebob Squarepants Movie on the GBA in one night. First game I can remember beating that fast.
That's all I can recall at the moment.
Confessions
I still actively play Sonic 2006.
I still play Shadow the Hedgehog.
I never could finish Arkham Asylum.
I've never played Arkham City, but I'm hopefully getting it for Christmas!
I've never extensively played a Final Fantasy game, but I do own FFIII on the DS and FFVI on VC. I hope to finish them one day.
I've never played Kingdom Hearts.
I suck at traditional fighting games.
I've never beaten Castlevania I or III. |

It was the last game of the night, I was with four other guys in a team death match in Gears of War 3, I being the worst player on our team, ended up being the last survivor, we ran out of lives and the opposing side had three other guys still alive. Everyone was biting their nails and yelling into my ear, telling me what to do; I took out one guy, then the next, it was down to me and the other guy on the other team, we had out shotguns out, circling each other, firing one shot after another, trying to dodge, then he rolled into me and I blew his head off. My ear nearly went deaf from the cheering, over the microphone.
When it comes to Arkham City, I trumped all my friends in the Riddler Challenges and scored the "Perfect Knight" Achievement.
Confessions Dead Space on the iPhone got me to buy Dead Space 2. Dead Space 2 got me to buy the first one. The first one bored me.
I got stuck once in Devil May Cry 2 and never picked it up again.
I lost all my achievements in Shadows of the Damned and lost interest because of that.
I worked so hard to beef up my game in Marvel vs Capcom 3 with Chris/Jill/Wesker, when I played online I was crushed by Rocket Raccoon/Firebrand/Arthur.
I dropped a key item next to a painting in Resident Evil Ø, and now I can never pick it up. I can only examine the painting: meaning, I never finished Resident Evil Ø.

Wait, I thought Zero was your favorite. Actually Resident Evil 4 is my favorite, but Ø was my first Resident Evil Game. I felt that without Resident Evil Ø I would have never played Resident Evil 4. |

| Playing Alice: Madness Returns made me feel like a GOD when I finished it on Nightmare and only using Hysteria once throughout the campaign during Nightmare.
Last time I played ORC with Ravior we kept getting murdered in verses. No matter what we did, we always were pinned against level 98 beasts. |

| My greatest achievement will probably be in Resident Evil: Outbreak. I killed the G Mutant on Very Hard mode with Cindy with only a knife. All my partners were dead at the time, leaving me with only a single F. Aid Spray. I felt like Chuck Norris at the moment. |

| Mine might be the time I was playing Halo ODST Firefight with friends. I highjacked one of those two wheeled fuckers (no I don't know the terms for Halo, fucking sue me) and I kicked the occupant out just as my friend drove by me from the front. The guy didn't even have time to hit the ground. Splat. |

Halo, really? Achievment: I was playing Brawl online and was being attacked by 2 of the players, while the 4th person just sat back and watched all the action, and I managed to pretty much own two human players, online, with the lag. It was nice. Confession: I did get owned, with a partner, against one person, in CoD once. A handicap match... |

| Achievement:
Beating Resident Evil Missions. One of the most painful things I have ever had to do.
Finding my first ever easter egg. It was the actual easter egg in Vice City when you jump through that one window from the roof of the mall.
Confession:
I don't really like playing online and prefer to just play either single player or split-screen.
I'm almost unable to start playing a game series from anything but the first part.
I like Duke Nukem Forever and can't understand the hate it gets.
