| So, some interesting news I saw while looking up some Tomb Raider movie news, I read that Resident Evil 6 will be the last in the series, if anything the last of Alice, reports Digital Trends. I'm also aware this is old news, but I just found out today. http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/movies-based-on-video-games/ - Digital Trends wrote:
- The most successful franchise of films based on video games hasn’t finished telling its story, and Resident Evil 6 is not only in development but on the calendar for a September 12, 2014 premiere. According to writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson, who wrote all five of the previous films and directed three of them, the sixth film will once again star Milla Jovovich as Alice, though it will be her final turn as the character (and possibly the final film in the series – at least before a reboot). Shooting for Resident Evil 6 is expected to begin this year.
Also the article highlights a laundry list of games that have been talked about being transitioned on the big screen that would seem interesting at at the same time pointless. How would they make a movie about the Sims? And how on earth are they going to make an Angry Birds movie? Also what do you feel about Tom Hardy (Bane from the Dark Knight Rises) playing Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell? Well, it's happening. |

Well, they are already making movies about WoW and Gran Turismo so anything is possible. What comes to Angry Birds, an animated feature film for the kids sounds about right. |

The World of Warcraft film also baffles me. I suppose that pile of money Blizzard is sitting on should be put to use somewhere. The Angry Birds movie is just dumb though, with such a simple story, they're going to have to give it the Dr. Seuss treatment, where they overcomplicate a simple idea and the entire thing turns into a mess. |

Heavy Rain is already a game. You must have been living under a rock to not know that. |

| I just wish Dead Space 3 had a better story. Following that game was like holding hands with a child on a sugar high while she directed you through a carnival akin to the one in Zombieland. And every now and then she would drop from being so tired.
I really wanted to know more about Ellie, but they sort of brushed her aside. They managed to make the most interesting character of Dead Space 2 go dull. |

| They do, but both anime films were horrible. Visceral could have produced better Dead Space movies. |

| I'd like another Final Fantasy movie. But like Advent Children. Not Spirits Within. That movie was horrible. |
