The setting, from what I've seen, is a vast improvement over Liberty City, that's for sure. Just hope the story isn't as much of a letdown and there's more to do after completing the game.

Not sure if you knew or not, but the setting is San Andreas. I heard there will be a specific focus on San Fierro I think. Hopefully we will still be able to go to Las Venturas and Los Santos too though.

I hear there's three main characters with their own storylines that intertwine. Sounds kinda like RE6 in a sense. Also sounds like a whole lot of gameplay.
A Finnish gaming magazine reported that the setting is actually bigger than it was in San Andreas. I hope this is true.

It's supposed to be the biggest GTA map of all time.

Buddy, I was on the website as the countdown timer to the release of the trailer ticked down. And it's Los Santos, actually. It was stated in an interview that the map consists of "Los Santos and the surrounding countryside".
But we were all led to believe prior to the release of GTA: SA that San Andreas was the name of the city that it took place in and R* stayed tight-lipped about San Andreas being a state instead of a city, never mentioning or showing anything about San Fierro, Las Venturas, or any of the smaller towns until the final couple of months until the game's release.

GTA IV had that (Niko, Johnny, and Luis), so it's not exactly a groundbreaking new addition. It'll probably retain the same format (one main game, two sub-games), since the way GTA plays kind of eliminates swapping characters through the course of a single game.
If it's true, that is. Though I'd surmise it is since GTA IV's "episodes" were a huge hit, with TBOGT even surpassing the main game in popularity

This game looks so awesome I peed a little when I watched the trailer. Inspired me to write a short story
Trevor Philips looks like he'll be my favorite. Psychopatic criminal with an ex military backround, drug addiction and a taste for blood. Sounds like Ghost Leader lel

Saw it on there. Maybe it's wrong cause it is a wiki, but I assumed it was true.

GL doesn't have an official military background. He just knows a lot about the subject.

Oh snap, it's just the way he talks and stuff, I thought he was military.
(Well this is awkward...)

I love GTA, I think Ima pop in that GTA 4 and kill a bunch of mothas. Damn, I could get a 6 Star level just like that!
BTW, the vids aren't showing...
Whenever this comes out I'm getting it. It's on my list, along with WWE 13!
I always liked the guy from Vice City, with his hawaiwan shirt and jeans.

Actually, you are able to swap between them during gameplay. That's certainly something new for these games.

They are showing for me and apparently everyone else so... *shrugs*

It's just the computer I'm on. Whatevs.
I don't care though, I don't want to see anything about GTA5, I just wanna play the game! Although avoiding spoilers isn't as big a deal as it was with RE6.
