Leon and Jake!

Is it just me or did Jake really take a disliking towards Leon in re6?

Why? He was okay with chris but aggressive towards Leon.

Personally I didn't think Jake was all that friendly with either of them.
But, I think he was more aggressive towards Chris because of the obvious.

I actually thought he didn't mind Leon as much, I mean, yeah he did try to protect Sherry from him, but that was because they had been through a lot already, but from the way they worked together to defeat Ustanak, and their little banter during the fight, I'm pretty sure Leon and Jake aren't too bad.

Chris and Jake however... That's a whole other thing, I just hope Jake eventually takes Sherry's advice that was near the end of the game.

Plus Jake told Sherry something on the lines of, "If hes even half the man you say he is, he'll be okay."

They aren't supposed to have any contact with anyone else, maybe he's just cautious.

Did you play Chris campaign? how can you say he was fine with Chris lol?

Beyond when they first met I didn't notice any animosity, Jake was still under the impression that the two of them have to get to Simmons and that Simmons is the good guy, plus he's being protective towards Sherry, Leon approaches Sherry very aggressively (because he's under so much stress, I'm not suggesting Leon doesn't like Sherry) and Jake reacts accordingly. After Sherry mentions their Raccoon City history he's fine with Leon.

There's far more animosity between Chris and Jake, for obvious reasons. But as with Leon, once Jake understands the context (ithat Wesker was an omnicidal maniac) the animosity is gone and the situation takes precedence

Yup, I definately noticed a beef. But Leon was pretty Chill, gotta respect that.

Leon and Jake didn't have any problems like the others have said. Now Jake and Chris was a bit feudy. They certainly didn't get along.

Jake was just a douche. His dad was evil, didn't care for him, had no idea how horrible he was and never met him, and still decided to be an emotional bitch towards Chris in a critical moment. Chris was definantley the bigger man. No homo

He did learn that Chris murdered his father though, so even though it might've been a tad misguided, it was still genuine.

I hope to see more from the Chris/Jake story.

Since they phucked up the Chris/Wesker fued in RE5, by raping the character with DC Douglas' voice and some stupid ass things like Final Fantasy hair and a stupid trenchcoat, Chris/Jake can really make up for some of that. Might I add, they did a great job with Chris in RE6.

Jake only acted SLIGHTLY aggressive towards Leon in a SHORT MOMENT of their FIRST meeting bcos Jake thought that Leon was gonna get "touchy" with Sherry, thinking that Sherry only considers Leon as an acquaintance but nothing more.
After finding out that well, yea, Leon saved Sherry's life back in Raccoon and that he's important to her, he pretty much calmed down and thought: "oh, this guy's good and wont hurt you Sherry? Das cool then." haha.

Basically, in some ways, its also being implied that Jake is starting to become less selfish, and is more caring and protective of those he cares about, especially Sherry.

BASICALLY, Capcom's implying that Sherry and Jake are a "something something"... *wink wink*.

... And that Leon is like the "father figure"....

.... And that he approves of Jake.

Yep, very true. But i guess its not a bad thing. Who knows how she couldve turn out like if her parents continued "caring" for her.

Jake most definitely doesn't like Chris at first. However, Jake is more angry over the fact his father died cos they are related, even if Wesker was a nutter. It's like with Sherry. Her parents were evil, but Sherry misses them both.

Good point. Almost makes me wonder if there will even be a Chris/Jake fued...

I mean, what'd be the point really? Jake is too stupid to realize that Chris killing his father was completely justified, nah, Jake seems smarter than that.

Well it definitely looks like Jake is going to return for Resident Evil 7, and the last time Chris and Jake meet, if you make Chris and Jake ride the elevator thing together they talk about meeting up in the future. I mean; I think it was stupid for Jake to even get worked up about someone he never met, despite it being his father, who happened to be a crazy egomaniac with a god complex.

I still don't get why he would be mad at Chris killing Wesker. He was crazy loco.

Maybe Jake wanted to meet his crazy dad one day, get to know him, and play catch in the backyard.
