| Yeah not wanting this game to be long doesn't make any sense. |

| Some info on the "Prelude" chapter. According to ResidentEvilOnly, Geimaku contacted Capcom and received the following reply: "The prelude is the introduction into the multiple campaigns. However, I wouldn’t call it a fifth campaign as such, hence the name prelude!”[source]Here's also a rundown of the organizations in RE6 if anyone is interested: [link] |

| I think that website saying it was all the Resident Evil games bundled into the prelude was a little top excited.. |

Same here. I don't think the game would be THAT big, it is a nice thought however. |

| So,what rating do you guys think RE6 is getting? I think around RE4's or two points higher using IGN's score style. |

| A higher rating than RE4? Is that even possible? RE4 got like a 9,6 average review score. |

| It could happen everything I've seen so far looks better than four by far. |

| Well, being better than RE4 isn't that impossible. RE6 topping REmake, I don't see that happen, but who knows. |

| Considering that RE4 got mostly tens.... I don't see anyone giving RE6 an "11". |

| I'm looking at the RE4 review chart at wiki(can't trust wiki for a second) I only see one ten out of ten. |

| Honestly, the way people rate games are ridiculous. I would like a 3 out of 3 or a 5 out of 5 rating style. To call Resident Evil 4 or any top of the line game 98.5 out of 100 is just plain stupid. Why would you hold back on the 1.5? Or even a 9 out of 10 rating system is pointless.
Either it's good and you'll get it, it's bad, avoid it, or it's not that good but it's playable, spend your money the way you like.
Plus, why would we want to know some other guy's opinion on the game if you're going to buy it regardless of the rating it gets? Capcom might pay off the reviewers to give it good scores anyway.
Just let the game speak for itself. |

| Opinions are opinions and sometimes another person's view on the game can help you decide. I know if I heard more bad about a game then good I would rent it first and see for myself before considering buying it.
I don't care much for the whole 'rating' thing though, I would rather just read what someone has to say about it. Don't care much for the whole 'Let's give it a score! Yeah!' |

| I agree with DeadlyGenetics, I've never really thought about renting a game to see how I would like it, with that knowledge. I will put it to use, Thanks Dgen |

| I don't go with journalistic reviews or charts. I prefer to either get the game and decide for myself, or if the game has early video reviews (most now a days do) and they are not bias and show you everything you need to see like gameplay, story, how it runs, graphics etc etc Then I will make my mind up from there. When it comes to Resident Evil I will buy the game regardless, afterwards I might hate it but at least I gave it try. Games such as deadly premonition got bad reviews and from a general speaking point was not that graphically impressive and didn't have the best storyline but I bought it and I loved it, don't know why there was just something there that roped me in. That's kind of how things work, you don't know until you have tried for yourself and if you dont try you will forever be wondering what things are like. |

I would as well, I regularly check out Gamefaqs user reviews when I'm looking at new games and granted some if not more so have biased and not particularly constructive reviews. But in a world where a videogame costs £50 a few too many poor choices could seriously leave you out of pocket. Besides, companies love word of mouth. Nothing beats free advertising and as such opinions are valid methods of rating games. I agree an actual rating scale is pretty pointless, the opinion is what counts. BTW, hi all. |

I did the same, that's what I do. Before I purchase the game I rent it, and see it for my self if it's worth to buy and play it with |

This phrase took my breath away. Good God. I have a feeling that they might kill off Ada. The last part from the new trailer looked like she was going to mutate, or something. Well, I have to be wrong. But still, RE:Damnation. It's getting closer and closer. |
