I ve never played RE4...Should I try it?

Okay so I have never played RE4. It just always seemed to complicated to play. Ive only played 2&3. Should I try it? Is it really scary? what system should I get it on?

The Wii is the easiest. You should play to find out.

I have it on Game Cube, but I hear the Wii version is better. Anyway, if you get scared easily then you may find it scary. Although tbh, it's really not. The only thing that I found creepy were the regenerators and iron maidens. Difficulty wise, it's not really all that hard. You have have to make sure you upgrade the proper weapons and watch for traps (and protect Ashley Rolling Eyes

). Other than that, it a really good game and you should definitely try it out.

You should play it on whatever platform you have available. I'd suggest the PS3/360 version because it's the latest and it's in HD. It also has all the extras.

So you've only played 2 & 3? You should play the original and/or the remake too.

Yes, get it. Play it on GC for the best experience. Then get it on Wii for the extras. Avoid the crappy versions(Ps2 and PC).

It's not scary. I enjoyed playing it. You should try the Resident Evil 4 HD on PS3 for best experience.

I definitely agree. I still had my RE4 on my PS2. and its still working

Get the Wii version. It has the Gamecube's graphics and the cutscenes are not pre-rendered and the PS2's extras.

Resident Evil 4 is working on all my consoles. Why shouldn't it work for PS2?

Oh yeah there's the code where you're invisible, have unlimited ammo, you can fly, and this is Resident Evil for god's sake! Survival horror urges the key word survive in every turn! So no, there are no codes you can punch in and take a walk in the park with.

Well have mercy on me. It's not like I was going to play the game with cheats first. From what I've heard 2 and 3 (the ones I played without cheats) is a lot harder to survive in then 4. I was asking because I go on youtube all the time, and I see people changing the game a lot. With clothes and stuff.

There's nothing wrong with cheats when your using them for fun, but when you use them to accually play the game thats just stupid. lol

. I like to beat any game I play without cheats first. But ya i was just wondering if there was any cool stuff like that.

Oh screw you guys, RE4 is scary, the whole first chapter (the village) is scary and adrenalinic as hell, and Ive played the old games, played them first mind you. The island is where it gets more action, but it has its fair share of thrills. Be original Get it on the GC. Then play on the Wii for extras, like Spike said.
