Resident Evil ORC First Impressions

I'm gonna use the spoiler tag here but I'm not gonna fill this whole thread with that stupid spoiler box. If it's a spoiler I'll just put it in larger letters or something. Afterall this is titled "ORC First Imressions" if you don't want to know about that game/plot don't read this thread.

I agree with your Spoiler,

I watched like one or two trailers and didn't see them. I felt they were giving too much away by releasing a new trailer like everyday.

@ChickenHeart Yeah they really did step up the enemy AI. In the trailers it seemed as though it was going to be the stupid "run and stop" crap again. They must've fixed that just before the release. I played on normal as well and it can get pretty challenging. I surprisingly found that the hardest parts weren't with the bosses at all but more just getting through some of the regular story plot.

@PAULSAMSON I know the part you are speaking of haha. They arn't very effective against the regular Spec-Ops though. When you throw one they notice it right away and take cover. I would find myself just wasting grenades, don't even get me started on the stun grenades lol. I'm glad they take notice though, it makes it more realistic. I dont think any of that was a spoiler

Yeah that's how I felt too, the most recent ones gave a lot away.

my brother is playing right now, looks just like any other shooter so far, but the layout, the mood and graphics so far are totally awesome.

You can also click the "Others" button which will bring up a menu. Click spoilers and type what you want between that. Or you can write your entire post highlight it with your mouse and then click "spoilers".

I have to say Karen and Four Eyes are my favorite from the USS. And the gameplay looks like fun. I hope re6 will be somewhat like this.

Stupid Question: I've watched a couple of videos on YT and all of them were players playing the USS. Are you not allowed to play any of the characters from the Spec Ops until you've beaten the game?

There's no such thing as stupid questions, only stupid people who ask questions.

And to answer your question, no. That is not the case. If anything the main champaign are the Umbrella agents and online you can play as either.

Us Spec Ops are initially only available on mutliplayer maps.
The Us Spec Ops Campaign is a DLC.

@chrisredfielmusculo **POSSIBLE SPOILER** The first time around I did choose to kill him although I ended up dying and failing the mission. So when I restarted from the cutscene where you get to choose, I for some reason chose to save Leon. Idk why, I just did haha. I don't particularly like Leon that much but something inside me just couldn't disrupt the timeline, at least not the first time around...I'll get him next time though

@PAULSAMSON To be honest, I haven't even looked yet LOL. I will tomorrow since my friends are getting it and I'll be playing with them. So you could wait till tomorrow, but I'm sure you could just Google it by now.

So guys, is this game any good? IGN gave it a 4. Now, normally I don't base my decision on what IGN says, but a 4.0! That's low.
