It's funny, these liberal types (not referring to any members) are all like "OMG Republicans are all warmongers, the US should never get involved anywhere!" and "OMG 9/11 was an inside job! We should never defend ourselves against terrorists (Afghanistan) or help the people take down a warlord (Iraq)." Yet here these same liberals are saying "go in and help the people take down the warlord in Uganda."

Oh okay, what you're basically saying is:
"It's not imperialism when we do it!"

The difference is what ould be the end game for taking down Kony. The US has always had a game plan when it came to supposedly fighting terrorism. Its been at Iran for years, and its been taking down surrounding countries ever since. But what would the US gain by taking down Kony?would it be imperialism?think on that son.

I had earlier posted this on a political forum I go to:
American intervention in Central Africa to stop the LRA is a good step towards expanding upon our involvement the region. With Communist China's recent activities in the region and strengthening foreign and trade relations between many African nations and the communists, it's good to see that America hasn't abandoned the region entirely. America's providing assistance to the national governments fighting the Lord's Resistance Army should be just the first step towards America taking much larger role in the region, building closer relations with African nations, and putting ourselves in a better position to combat China over economic and strategic interests in the region.

You should create a political thread to talk this shit over, or give me your email so we can talk this through and discuss it properly.

We need to bring back non-interventionism back to the United States.
