I've been aware of the LRA's activities in Africa for years now. Now all of a sudden I see people all over the internet posting the same video EVERYWHERE, on every forum I go to there are SEVERAL threads about this, now REF has it's first about Kony. I thought nobody would bother posting it here, it's as if everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.

Ive been aware of the warcrimes in Africa, especially in the Congo area for some time now, but you dont see me writing it off acting all holier than thou. Dude, just drop it. Your into politics, so am I, but that doesnt mean you have to bring it up everywhere and be such a hipster about it. Sometimes, just keep quiet. Its smarter and you seem less like a douche.

I'm not writing anything off as anything. I'm just saying it's pathetic how all these people spamming the internet with this video didn't give a shit for twenty-six years. It takes some Hollywood phony like Justin Beiber or Kim Kardashian to go "hurr durr Africa" and now all of a sudden all these kids act like they care as they blog about it on their $2000 laptops.

To be honest this is the primary reason I came off as so angry when this was first posted. This has been posted on pretty much every single forum I go to, often multiple times on the same forum. There are literally 20 threads on one forum I go to, all about this same video.

whats up with the hate?i think most people didnt seem to care before because they werent exposed to this reality,and now that they have been exposed,they whant to help,because they feel its a noble cause,and i dont see nothing wrong with that,if i lived in america i woud join that group,but since i live far away and dont have much money,what i did was to share the video,it isnt much but its better then doing nothing,and i always had some interest in helping this causes, and about the picture i do understand what you are saying but how many people woud achually have the conditions to travel to africa and help the cause?not many,there is a lot of people that dont have the resources or the money,or arent just that touched that they woud achually sacrifice theyr current lifes and confort for that,but hey whe are free to do what whe want,the video has hit 26 million views thats twice the population of my country,and my pc is barely 200 bucks,portugal is getting poor as shit lol
