| The same thing happened to me in RE2 in Leon's B scenario. I was fighting Mr. X in his final form next to the train and only had like a few magnum rounds left and a few herbs. I was also poisoned and had not way of curing it. I gave up but your situation sounds a little more bearable. |

| All you have to do is last long enough for the thing to recharge or whatever right? Though some of his attacks are harder to avoid than others.
It doesn't sound like you have very much health, certainly not an adequate amount, though I think most of us have beaten enemies, bosses and just situations, with inadequate health before. That's what it's all about.
though, you could always try to go back to an earlier save.
I remember that in CVX you get like what, 15 or so spots for saves, I know I had several saves from through my run, like next to a cutscene. |

| Yeah you have to damage him until he starts walking slow, then you should be able to knock him out of the plane with that. |

Sargent do u think i have enough supply too win the boss battle? Fool, why didn't you conserve? You know, this may be one of those fights where you just have to try over, and over, and over.............until you finally get it. But I think you can probably work with what you have. Maybe. Just a lot of anger, retries, and hatred will be in your future. Like I said though, there are multiple, probably around 15 really, save spots for a single spot on your memory card. If you only used one space...well then back to what I said above this. |

Oh...my bad. I thought you were just playing CVX on ps2 or GC or something...this is the HD port? What's it look like? Well anyway....forget what I said about the card then, just try until you get it, that's my best advice, otherwise you could play from the beginning and play more conservatively. |

Haven't you beat CVX before Jamesy? If you feel like you have to, then more power to you. I know I'd be a bit hesitant to restart, especially being around halfway through the game, but if you've tried enough times.... |

I'd just try again and again and again. Patience, my dear Jamesy. - Spike991 wrote:

Well anyway....forget what I said about the card then, just try until you get it, that's my best advice, otherwise you could play from the beginning and play more conservatively. I guess playing the HD ports would provide you even more save slots. You know, having played through the CVX story on three different consoles, I feel like this port, as it's been said that they aren't any different than the previous releases of the titles, other than supposed HD, which is still in question apparently, would still have the same number of possible save slots when you go to save or load. Around 15 I think it was. Just saying that Jamesy probably had the oppurtunity to save all throughout instead of devoting it all to one spot. Unfortunately there is no way to delete those individual save slots. It's all part of a single block on the memory card on the other console versions. So basically what I'm saying is...you should have had other saves to go back to Jamesy, or rather you should aim for that next time, so if you get stuck in a sticky situation like you are now. I also thought Jamesy had played through all of the main series before, so him being stuck on CVX, whilst still being one of the most challenging games in the series, is something I had not anticipated. But yeah, I mean, obviously he just played through recently, so it should be pretty fresh on his mind, so maybe starting over again won't be too bad....possibly. |

So what does it look like on the HD port Jamesy? Noticeable? It has a few subtle changes such as Claire actually having a legit shadow instead of just around her feet and some lighting effects. I think the water looks considerably better too. Beyond that it still looks like same old CVX. The RE4 remake definitely looks crisper but then it again it's a newer game so I figure it's easier to touch up. |
