| Anyone know any interesting creepypastas or urban legends? Here's a nice little page with videos collecting some urban legends: [Urban Legends at JKCinema]This is a link to the MarbleHornets thread. It has the link to the videos somewhere in there and also my story of something creepy that actually happened to me. I especially love the stories about hacked Pokémon cartridges: [Ghost Black] & [Lost Silver]Oh, you could also share your experiences if you have any. |

| The only paranormal thing that has ever happened to me is that my shower will occasionally rise to maximum temperature when I don't want it to. That's about it. Those Pokemon stories are rather spooky. I smell potential creepypasta. |

| I don't know about Lost Silver but I know the Ghost Black version is real. It's just one of the many bootleg Pokémon games. |

| As for urban legends, my mom told me one once. When she was a kid, she heard that during a stormy night this lady went to bed. The lady's dog always slept on the floor next to her. The thunder woke her up late at night and she hung her hand over the bed and her dog licked it. The next morning, she walked into her bathroom and her dog was in the bathtub skinned and on the wall, written in blood it said, "Humans can lick too."
That's creepy lol. Another:
As far as I know, this one is real. I went to school with this guy and then he moved to Chicago. Well a few years later a friend of mine told me that he heard a story about him. Apparently, the guy's girlfriend was house sitting for a married couple and one day she was in the basement. She saw this creepy looking clown statue in the corner of the basement and it really started to freak her out. When she got closer, she could have sworn that the corner of its mouth curled a tiny bit into a smile. She went upstairs and called the owners and asked if she could move it because it was creeping her out. They said they didn't own any clown statues. When she returned to the basement, the small basement window was blowing open and shut and the clown statue was gone. |

| Gah! Damn, Nite. I always find clown stories creepy :/ I've read the other story before in a book that collected small horror tales. It was way different, but the main idea with the dog was the same. @Knife: I love all the stories about these weird bootleg cartridges I will post more when I find some. I will propably post other good stories here too. |

| I heard that somewhere in Georgia a guy was murdered for being atheist,so his cousin killed the town mayor and a few cops that helped them grab the guy.Supposedly if a descendant of the cops or the mayor go across a trail outide of town at night they get attacked by this dudes ghost.I heard this from a lunatic hill-billy in Mississipi. Makes for a great campfire story if your roomate is scared of the dark.lol |

| I've been playing a game called Lost Crown on the PC. It supposedly has real ghost videos, pictures and EVPs in it. Seems pretty good but I'm not too far into it. Funny thing, also the first Fatal Frame was based on a Japanese urban legend. On completely unrelated note, I really like the Bunny Man myth. [link]There's also these two viral videos that have creepypastas made for them: Squidward's Suicide and Suicidemouse.avi |

| That reminds me.
In San Antonio, TX, a school bus full of children broke down on railroad tracks just before a train passed by. The whole bus was destroyed and all the children died.
Nowadays, if you go to the tracks and leave your car standing there on neutral for a while it will suddenly get pushed off the tracks. I've heard a story where the car was so dusty that little handprints were left on the back of the car. This is pretty much a true story, as there are videos of this happening and it was also included in some documentary where they tested it and proved it works.
I found this neat little info on urbanlegendsonline.com: There is a park in San Antonio (Espada Park) where you can experience this. You don’t park your car on the tracks, but a few feet from the tracks. You must have your car turned off, but in Neutral. Also, behind Espada Park is a subdivision. All the streets in that subdivision have the names of all the children who were killed in that accident. It is said that if a child is in the car, your car will be pushed a lot faster. |

| I work at a state mental institution so I'm asked all the time if I see ghosts (it's considered to be one of the most haunted places in the area). I don't believe in that stuff so I usually just make up things to see their reactions. |
