Steve is dead and he's annoying. and Claire wasn't in love with Steve.

He might be dead. He might not. And you must be kidding me. Claire and Steve are arguably the only couple in the series that really show love for one another. Aside from Leon and Ada.

Claire doesn't show real love to Steve. I never had the sense that she was interested in him. Steve was in love with Claire, that's a fact.

Have you seen the Steve die in CV? Seriously. I really think she loves him too.

Many people cry if a family member dies. That doesn't mean they are in love with them.
It's obvious that Claire cares about him but I don't think she is in love with him.

You can't compare family with strangers. And even with family, there is love there. Just not romantic love. Usually.

It's Claire. She often gets a close relationship in a short time. Look at Sherry.

And btw, as much as I love Claire, I have to admit that she was a bit whiney at the end of CVX.

Well it is debatable whether she loves him. I think she does.

Let's say, if she does, it isn't that obvious. And like I said before in this thread, I think that Claire deserves better then Steve.

As much as I hate Steve, for being kind of dickish and annoying, I think she deserves him. He fought his virus to save her. I'm not sure that has ever happened before in the series. Maybe one of the spinoffs but not in the main series. Unless you count Chris being able to stall Jill in RE5.

Yeah, I guess I did. lol I was trying to say that he is good enough for her to at least deserve him, if not someone better. I can't think of any other character that deserves her more.

I don't know about you guys, but in both versions of the story I'd say Steve was friggin' awesome.

I laughed at it at first but I quickly got use to it. I think around the time he busted in shooting the crap out of everything with double machine guns that his voice quickly became perfectly fine to listen to.

His voice actor in DC was pretty good. It fit the character, and wasn't grating at first like the originals was.

But sometimes he ruins his own epic actions. For example when he saves Claire from the Bandersnatch. It was badass but he ruins it by saying: 'Oh yeah, that felt good'.

If I did something like that, I probably would have said something along those lines. Just not in such a silly way.
