Actually, you know what, I'm 100% sure it's just because of these Leon fanboys I always hear about, so no actual rational reason. I'm sure you're not taking the gameplay into account at all, and are just not voting for it out of spite. I'm dead serious too, that's the reason. Honestly think about it.

I just hate seeing works of art being betrayed for the absolute stupidest and petty reasons.

Of course you could actually genuinely enjoy UC more. But somehow I doubt that. It's like saying you like Mario Party 2 more than Super Mario 64 just because "I'm sick of hearing remixes of that underwater theme." I mean really think about it for a second. It saddens me that it's become "cool" to hate RE4. I never even imagined something like that could happen.

Don't you dare assume you know why I chose UC over RE4. I don't give a dead moose's last shit about what other people think about a game, it won't change my damn mind about it. Do I like RE4? Hell yes I do. It's a great game. I think RE5 is a better version of it, but RE4 deserved every single great review that was thrown at it. You will never ever find me saying otherwise. Mass can vouch for the fact that I will only attack RE4 in the sense that it does not deserve the amount of severe love making that Leon fanboys and RE4 fanboys give it. I feel that same way about Wesker fanboys and he's my favorite video game villain of all time. I chose UC because it has fun gameplay, epic scenarios (although some were just plain awful), classic characters, coop and a SHIT TON of back story. Aside from DSC which I haven't personally played, only RE5 has more of the story laid out for us than UC does. And that just plain tips the scales in my eyes. RE4's story is probably the thing I dislike most about it and to me, RE is ALL about story. That's why I chose UC. So please, before making rash accusations just know that I would never hate something just because others think it is above god. That's all I have to say about that.
