| Exactly what choco said.
To be honest, I'm one of those who actually played BOTH RE4&2 first. Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan of the series since the first game, but those were the games I actyally first played myself. I don't think Leon was ruined, at least not for me, and he's still one of my favorites. Not the best character though (and never has been) in my opinion.
The only and seriously the ONLY thing I hate about the newer games are the damn fanboys. |

| Fanboys are all in for the action... Sigh...
Leon is right in the top (4th on my top5) but that's my opinion, won't start ushering it to people. |

Just because of the fanboyism, and him being overpopular isn't going to keep me from enjoying Leon, or RE4. |

| I didn't feel like doing a whole new thread for this but Revan, if you ever stumble upon here, I found a thread on The Horror Is Alive asking would people rather have RE2 remake, RE6 or a port of RE1 remake. Your cover art for RE2 remake was on the OP I can't link the thread but it was this picture. |

| If they would remake RE2 as good as they did with RE1, it would be the best RE game hands down. |

| An RE2 remake would be fantastic. I had an idea for it, but it probably wouldn't work in the long run.
What if there was an option to have classic, static camera angles (default) and an option for over-the-shoulder camera angles? I mean sure they'd have to change the game mechanics for each gameplay style and over-the-shoulder would be WAY easier than static, but it could satisfy both sides of the RE fanbase. But like I said before, I doubt it'd work. |

But like I said before, I doubt it'd work. I have said this idea a few time on topics before lol After playing the RE4 old cameras style MOD then its next to impossible to do it. If they were going to try then they would really need to think of a really good strategy to implament both style's into one game, also would be a hell of a big game, probably be to expensive so they wouldnt bother. Lastly its capcom do you really think they would that nice to us ? |

| I would absolutely hate it if they would remake it with the OTS view. They should just remake it like REmake. |

That cover looks so badass. Love it!
I'm I the only one that isnt to keen on this cover desing ? There is just to much 3d's renders and brush effects and also to much going on, No real focal point and background is just..... well I reaally dont know what is going on or what its meant to represent. Not a bad try but I just dont really like it. You're probably not alone. I think it looks badass but if i have one critism it's the lack of William Birkin not the fact there is 'too much going on'. |

Yeah there is a lack of birkin too lol I mean to much going on as in effects and brush, less is indeed more in the graphics world. You can make a impact with even something so basic and also have a focal point within a design . Maybe I'm being a bit to critical, but I am at college doing graphic design and have been doing it as a hobby before hand so Im pretty use to putting all I have learned into practise and such. Also is Revin not on this forum ? I'm pretty sure he used to be a active member a good few months back. |

Darksides rendition of RE2 actually looked pretty beast and makes me wonder how good it would be if they focused on a remake of RE2. Also if they make it like they did with REmake then it would be good because they would add new things to it. Maybe new parts of the story that were never included with the original RE2, like the woods and lisa trevor in the REmake. I keep praying they will do a remake of 2 but I think they are too lazy to do it, either that or they are scared incase they fuck the remake up and have every fan after there heads. Although they took a bigger risk with remaking RE1 because that was way more precious than RE2, if they had fucked up RE1 then we would have said good night to Capcom lol |

| I think it could be really cool. Enemies from REmake like Crimson Heads could be brought back. When you get to the labs, there could be extra rooms where there would be other experimental monsters. |
