it's the prototype of RE2. search for the videos on youtube... Ah yes... the prototype that Capcom felt wasn't even good enough to be released. So why do people on here want to see it come out? What relevance does it have to an RE2 remake? |

So why do people on here want to see it come out? What relevance does it have to an RE2 remake? Reason every oldskool RE fan wants 1.5 to come out is because RE2 was THE best RE title there was and 1.5 was a different and early beta for RE2 and it just looks interesting to see how RE2 could have been Even though the RE2 is flawless and its good that it stayed that way We all would still like to be able to play 1.5 because It's a whole different game like the rooms, the story and the characters and we can't play it that's why everyone wants it and I dont kknow just looking at it makes me Just wish I could get a shot of the game it be fun to play |

| The game was 75% finished and required mostly polishing. They could just add fmv's or something and it'd be finished. Nothing too major. |

Yeah I know thats pretty good But some of the RE1.5 OST's should have been kept in RE2 because the were simply amazing i believe some stuff from 2 was copied from 1.5 Yeah and some stuff that was for 1.5 waas copied from RE1 like the full engine was from RE1 thats how it looked similiar to the first that was the reason they scrapped RE1.5 because it felt and looked to much like RE1 and they wanted to advance from RE1 the first leon looked similiar to chris but more muscular and they used chris's data for leon to but then in the alpha 2 test they introduced leon. Like a said yeah they used the musical scores from 1.5 and edited them into the OST's we now know from RE2 But there was a few OST's from 1.5 that never got used and edited and they were the ones that should have been used in final RE2 Also even though it was a bit to futuristic I liked leon's costume concept with the white body armor and ada looked pretty cool aswell she wear a beige coloured mini skirt and had a white umberella hoody on But at first she was just meant to look like a civillian tht worked for umberella and not a bad ass spy lol Just search for 1.5 if you want info on it I have lots and lots of things from 1.5 from searching google Plus have seen videos from alpha test 1 to 3 and seen the beta test but that is what the demo was but the alpha test were cool and showed a lot more and what changes they made before the demo RE2 was edited about 4 or 5 times before RE2 was released lol the alpha test second or third test had more enimies as well, like 7 zombies in most rooms. Also some of the earlier zombie sound effects sounded scary and good aswell Plus the when you got bitting it shoudn't pretty cool aswell, but it did kind of sound like you torn a piece of clothing though lol Anyway just search for info on the game and that will fill you in on some secrets |

Not just RE2, but RE1, RE2 & RE3....the fans really do ruin some things sometimes. RE2 and RE3 need a remake less and less each day. I mean Raccoon has been seen in both RE2/3, as well as both Outbreaks, UC & Darkside, and not ORC....I think we've got all we're going to get. |

| Agreed. Though I wouldn't throw a fit over a remake of the specific events of RE2 and 3. |

What do you mean Nite? If you mean seeing cetain events perhaps in part of another game....not too sure how to describe this, but if you remember the scene in RE2 where it shows Birkin inject himself and slaughter the USF team, that was sort of remade, I guess, in the Outbreak opening. I would definately love to see more stuff like that. Seeing Raccoon get destroyed...I'll never get tired of that. Perhaps they should redo that, as the Outbreaks, while very tastefully done, had the city get blown up by several rockets dropped off of fast ships, almsot like a carpet bombing....instead of the nuke from RE3. |

| Yeah it's weird how there are two different depictions of Raccoon's (Mass) destruction. Ha, sorry. Had to take another shot at Mass. Anyway, I meant that if they made a remake of RE2 or 3, I wouldn't complain. By specific events, I meant the entire games' worth of events as opposed to what they did in UC and DC where they redo short sections of each game. |

Gotcha. RE3 in UC was horrific. I mean it was cool seeing Jill in her skirt with a remade Carlos in some cool new Outbreak locations, but what about the story. I was really excited to see Brad...I'd even take Dario. As for RE2, I think DSC did it more justice than UC did...but still, a remake would be excellent. Also, because I'm picky, I'm still ticked that they have left the knife holster on Leon for his RPD uniform....that is in ORC, when you see him pull up in an 18 wheeler for some reason. |
