How many of the STARS became infected?

Are Edward Dewey, Forest Spyer and Brad Vickers the only STARS members to become infected?

They are the only ones we see change. I'm sure Richard and Kenneth both got infected. We just never saw them turn. And Wesker of course. But he's more complicated. I doubt Frost had a chance to turn.

Does Jill count too since she was infected by Nemesis but never actually turned

Nite, you might be right about Frost but I don't think Kenneth had the chance to turn either since his head was ripped off.

I bet Kevin Dooley, though not exactly a STARS but a somewhat honorary member, got infected too. Also, depending on the scenario (and in Genesis), Barry is likely to get infected after his death though none of this is canon. As for Jill, I'm not counting her as "infected" since the antivirus she got stopped the virus completely.

You mean Marvin Branagh? He sure got infected and even tried attacking the player afterwards but he was not a STARS member, just a regular RPD officer.

I think Jill counts. And I forgot that Kenneth's head came off. And Barry doesn't count as it wasn't canon.

Didn't Dooley die on impact? I remember seeing at least a lot of blood in the pilot seat of the Bravo copter.

I remember him giving Rebecca her signature "thumbs up" right as Bravo left to check out the area. When we see him in the REmake, he looked like he had been mauled by the Cerberus sometime between the beginning of RE0 & the begining of RE1.

Not too many have died by those. Joseph, Kevin....Edward....that's all that comes to mind. Nobody with too much screentime, that's for sure.

I'm sure it's as necessary as DC Douglas as Wesker, enemies dropping ammo when they die, rail shooters in RE, or anything else that is unnecessary. Oh, the stupid cover system in RE5.

I do however, hope that it is optional, as I don't want to be forced to use it.

Maybe it will just be with the rifles like in the other ones?

It looks like Jill's beretta was in FPS mode...it looked very COD MW2, if you know what I'm sayin'.

Didn't you say you had done that with the Chronicles games too? Not a bad alternative I guess, I mean the cutscenes do tell a lot, plus you can look up any documents.

Overall it does look pretty good though. I do like seeing Jill without the cap, and without the golden locks.

Yeah. But I saw all the gameplay and cutscenes and I paused to read the documents.

I wasn't saying he was an actual STARS member but he was considered somewhat an honorary member byt other STARS. I remember the book giving a little more backstory for him and why he was on duty as the pilot. At least I know I read it somewhere. He even was one of the people in the STARS group photo.

And yeah, you're right Nite, Barry shouldn't be counted since his infection wasn't canon. But didn't the medicine Jill got destroy the virus completely? I'm still eager to see the completion of Dark Biohazard since you'll propably see a zombified Jill in that game.

Now that you mention it Mass, Jill's T-Virus wasn't destroyed completely. That's why Albert experimented with her. But, in any case, she was infected at one time. She just never turned. And yes, Edward was attacked by cerberi which led to his death, and eventual reanimation.

She certainly didn't seem to have any superhuman abilities after that apparatus was taken off. It should also be noted that she wasn't hissing or crawling up the walls afterwards either.

It may have been gone after the experimenting. But the T-Virus doesn't really give super human powers anyway. Remember that Wesker's virus was fairly unique and was not the T-Virus. Obviously.

ill admit, i have not been able to refresh my memory of the series lately, but wasnt that just a virus of some sort to control her movements? i mean, she said herself she was aware of everything, could the chest piercing just be forcing her body to run at 100 %? or even administering synthetic adrenaline or electrical currents to enhance performance
