Did Barry die?

Did Barry die in Chris Redfields scenario in Resident Evil 1 Remake.

I can't remember...Obviously in the RE canon he does not die.

They never say, in Chris' scenario, Barry might as well not exist. He is mentioned at the beginning, "Barry, where's Barry?". Otherwise, nada.

Well Jills scenario did not tie in with Rebbecas story from RE0.

I think Chris scenario was what really happened at the mansion incident hence why he has such a grudge against Wesker which stretches all the way to RE5. I think the whole Barry and Jill scenario was just for fun and thats why Barry has hardly been in the picture since the mansion incident. Then again neither has Rebbecca?

Neither scenario is what happened exactly. It was a mixture of the two with stuff taken out and other stuff added in.

Yeah, I actually just got that RE Archives book. It has all kinds of info, and well, it is a mixture of both the Chris and Jill scenarios, although we already knew that, this book lets us know who did what. Atlhough I don't agree with every single thing it said, it is very informative.

Is this your first time hearing about it? I believe it came out in 06.

Anyway, I got it on Amazon, it was about 50 bucks. Although you can find it for all kinds of prices, some are really expensive too. I didn't want to mention Archives too much before, I would rather keep it on the downlow, so if someone were to get wise and get one of the better deals, but now that I have a copy, I don't mind sharing with the world!

But anyway, it's a smart buy, definately nice to have, to occasionally look through, as well as for bragging rights.

Anyone ever read the official RE comics? There's a story called "Dangerous Secrets" where the main cast revise the Mansion Incident and the main events in there and at one point they too get confused about one fact (that I will leave for people to read). There's also Barry-story, "Lock Down".

Nope. Official? As in there are also nonofficial ones?

Well I've seen wierd RE comics, although I try to steer away from those, I just stick with the canonical and otherwise regular RE series, games, movies(Degeneration that is, not that I didn't like that first RE movie)...

I will admit though, the novels were really good too, SD Perry knows how to write a good book.

Well actually I have seen a few weird ones that didn't seem to have been licensed by Capcom.

Well actually I have seen a few weird ones that didn't seem to have been licensed by Capcom.

I think I came across one once that took place in space or something like that...it didn't look too appealing though.
