Barry Burton!

Does anybody wan't to see Barry Burton back in Future Resident Evil games? Also I wonder how much his apperence has changed since the Resident Evil 1 Remake?

I wouldn't mind him having a supporting role, but I'm not too sure if I'd want to play as him though.

Barry Burton is a legend, but I too wouldn't want to play as him. But it's cool when he's just there, with his colt and making cheesy one liners.

It'd be pretty cool to see how he's aged as well.

I am kinda guessing nowadays Barry is bald with a beard and beer belly.

I would definately like to see him again, hopefully alongside his comrades.

Yeah, definately, Capcom needs to stop leaving us hanging with all of the characters that still need more development...

well Capcom can develop any character from the series they want except for those from Dead Aim

well now that I think about it I guess they could touch up on Bruce a bit but PLEASE Capcom get a new voice actor for him

Sure they could fix him up a bit, but he had a sort of wierd stance in the in-game cutscenes, his neck was all forward and his head was sticking out...and they had better change his voice actor, he was definately one of the worst, the guy doing it was obviously trying to sound like he was southern, but it sounded so false and annoying..and if they did have Fong Ling again, they will have to make her sound more understandable as she was hard to understand in DA as they played on her accent too much.

i won't mind who we get to play as in re6 just so long as they don't have rubbish villain to fight against

But I hope they do it a bit differntly, not make the villian so generic, maybe make him or her more unique, they don't have to be a tough guy, or superhuman, I think that if they look at cool villians from like Die Hard and stuff like that they can come up with some great things.

@Spike: That's what was so great about Irving. He felt real.

Agreed, he felt more...not overdone or juts not....well he was great. I can best compare it with Le Chiffre from Casino Royale, he wasn't a fighter, he had his men do his dirty work, but he was a great villian.

That is also something good about Nicholai, he is pretty much just doing his job, and he of course had a few things here and there to get more money(killing Jill, being the only surviving UBCS member), and this was also something that 'used' to be cool about Wesker...before his role was expanded a bit too much...

capcom should do an update on the legend that is ark thompson lol.seriously nut i dont think we will ever get to play as barry burton simply because he uses a magnum which takes 1 shot to kill most enemys which would make the game far too easy

Barry Burton serioulsy needs to make a comback. If Barry did appear in Resident Evil 6 he woulden't even have to be the main character but perhaps a sidekick to main protagonist.

I don't think Barry being the next villian would be a great idea at the end of the day either.

well if Barry would get a starting role I think they would just tke the Magnum away from him to make it more of a challenge for the player

...Brilliance has just struck me. They should REmake the REmake and make Barry the main character! And instead of having Jill or Chris get locked in the cell...it should be Barry's magnum! So the whole game revolves around one man's search through hell for his beloved gun. Romantic really...
