By the way they are describing it, i'd say sandbox rather than RPG, either way its a fairly big departure from previous titles. |

| Strange...They need to go back to the roots...Can they seriously not see that? Nathan Drake is the new Lara Croft anyway. He's much better too. |

Well they tried going back to Tomb Raiders roots for the last three games, but sales werent as high as Eidos wanted. So some executive probably took one look at the 14+ Million copies of GTA4 sold in about a week, and the 6 million copies of RE5 that were sold in the opening weekend, and said lets mix the two and sell 20 million. Except it wont work like that, all they are going to do is annoy the few Tomb Raider fans left who want to play a Tomb Raider game not Grand Resident Theft Evil. |

| Its still Eidos publishing it, well Square Enix Europe anyway. Whether or not Crystal Dynamics are involved is unknown. Hopefully not, since while i liked the recent Tomb Raider games i'd rather see that developer go back to making Legacy of Kain games and finish off its story. |
