I'm really looking forward to this game. I'm glad you can still get newer horror games on the Xbox 360 because I cannot afford to get an Xbox One. Also, am I the only one who feels hyped for the new AITD and Sient Hills?

Wasn't the last Alone in the Dark horrible? I've never played it but I've read and watched lot of reviews. If anyone else would give it a recommendation?

It's from a different developer so the quality of the previous game bears no relevance to the new one. Some would say "thankfully".

Well at least that bit is encouraging.

I watched a lets play and it had some good ideas, but the overall game didn't seem good. It does have a cool soundtrack though.

Cool trailer, serves as a confirmation of the game actual happening, and its consoles. (as a separate debate, for the games I've seen so far that will come out next year, it seems that buying a new gen console isn't that worth it, unless until 2016).

Claire seems more likely also because of the kid, cause she's like a professional babysitter now. (sherry, rani and.........steve )

It's not uncommon for prequels to get numbered the same way a sequel would, Metal Gear Solid 3 and the first half of RE3 say hi.

yeah, the trilogy demands a retrace of steps. but 2 is always a sequel, I'm sure there's an exception, but 2 is generally a straight sequel.....sequel sequel. And yes, that looks a lot like Rachel

Since this is a teaser I doubt it reflects the game completely. Otherwise you'd think we'd be getting another itchy tasty diary page and door opening animations. We'll have to wait for an actual trailer to see what the game's about.

All the hidden images in the trailer, Racheal, the zenobia, the green herb, the umbrella etc are all just homages. The TerraSave t-shirt is the only important reference

This is very exciting! However, for those wondering who will be in the game, it was already confirmed that Revelations 2 will have an entirely new cast. It was confirmed that Chris and Jill will not be returning. That also means the Terra Save reference isn't for Claire, but maybe a new character who works for the organization.

Not exactly. Kawata has simply confirmed that Chris and Jill are not the main characters and the protagonists are new (new as in not from Rev1).

I was thinking that. I definitely think Claire is the main character, the trailer kinda made that obvious. Kawata said Jill and Chris aren't returning as playable characters, but maybe they're cameos.

So it looks like my theory about Claire's inclusion on the Sony Mural was correct after all. I knew she wasn't just a filler character.

I wonder what TerraSave has to do with the game in general. Aren't they just a peaceful protesting organization? I mean if it's only a segway for Claire to come in I understand, but where would that even lead?

Well TerraSave also aids victims of bioterrorism. It's quite possible that there was an attack and TerraSave was sent to an attack?
