No way anybody can talk shit about RE4 after playing ORC.
You mean about RE4's controls?
About calling it an "action shooter" and such. ORC is prime, ripe, freshly brewn RE action shooter, at it's worst.
I still need to finish it.
I have to agree. After seeing some new RE stuff, I'll never call RE4 a shooter again. I think RE4 was right in the middle between RE0-CV and RE5/ORC in terms of how much of an action game it is. RE4 is really starting to grow on me again.

If the controls are like ORC, which I watched the RE6 trailer again last night, and they seemed like they could very well be...I will be most displeased. Those controls are complete shit and really ruin the game.
From what I've heard RE6 will retain the normal RE controls but it should be a bit more fluent.

I am new here and I have been reading a lot of the post about ORC and I wanted to put my opinion in, yes this game has a lot of down points to it like the enemy bullet sponges and the out landish gun fights that take up every last bullet, to the glitches online, but I will say I am very glad to see the series going back to the zombie style of enemy. I liked RE4+5 a lot but something about minorities charging at my with random sharp/blunt objects just didn't quite scratch the itch I had for the RE series. I personally enjoy this game with all its ups and downs and am looking forward to the DLC in April. But at the same time, this game could have been so much more and like some past RE games is just a filler between the good games.

I wonder, do you think CAPCOM will patch the game?

There has been talk of a patch being on the way.

Is glitches the major thing that keeps ORC from being decent?

Apparently. I hope the patch is released soon. I still haven't played the game myself because I don't want to play it alone.

There was an update for the game released a couple weeks ago...I guess it was a patch. I really didn't notice anything different except the problems regarding spawn glitches and server connection problems seem to have been fixed.

One of the things. It was actually really fun when it wasn't more buggy than a Florida's day in the Everglades. Still the campaign was a joke, the multiplayer modes are the only aspect of the game that was worth playing, and I'm really not sure how hard it is to add split screen, but dear God, it really would have helped.

Is the player actually supposed to MURDER survivors and GIs?

I can't believe they'd put that in a game. That doesn't sound at all enjoyable to me.

Well, the game is supposed to be a "what if" scenario with only some canon elements. You can always opt not to kill anyone.

I wanna reach for the headache pills after I've played this game. That's how much it bores me.
It's best played on co-op, but even that is flawed. I hate how the computer partners just stand around not reviving you when they are right next to your body. Not really noticed them get their shots on target often either. That's how useful they've been for me!
I was able to complete the game as the Umbrella team, but the DLC stuff is a bloody solid affair.

It wasn't just boring, it was painful to play. Every second I continued to push through that game I felt like a masochist. The game is not meant to be played in single player, they should have had splitscreen as an option. When I did play online it was full of glitches, I heard there was a patch since then, but the squad based shooter inflicted enough damage on me, I don't even want to pick it up again and try it with its new patch anymore.
