| I'd have to agree too.
I wonder if it's for the same reason as those reviewers?
Have you read any good reviews Sarge? Any that you would suggest for a fella like me? |

I think I've seen too much of the negative with ORC thus far. The fact that the controls aren't very RE does bother me, but just how horrible they are in general. I don't want a cover system in RE, it doesn't belong, but it actually does work well in ORC. Wayyyyy better than that crappy cover system in RE5. |

....remember when I said this games looks like COD a few months ago......everyone laghed at me I didn't...BTW, I would prefer that this played like CoD than what it does play like. Gawd..I just had such an awful first experience. I hope the entire game isn't filled with those firefights...that's probably the most non-fun thing ever. The enemies just sit their and take all your bullets before finally dying, and they don't really seem to respond to you shooting them. They just take it all and when you hit them enough they die. The enemies were so responsive in previous games, especially like RE4 and RE5, like when you shot someone in their leg or arm, face, etc. |

Dammit...why are there so many UBCS guys...why are we even fighting hordes of them anway? I got to see Nicholai, he looks and sounds weird. Are the Crimson Heads really nice? Somebody told me about them. The Lickers are cool btw. I liked killing one on the wall and it falling with it's claw sticking into the wall, holding it up. |

| Seems like the bad is outweighing the good. Hell. If the reviews keep going down hill with this game, then it may hit the $20 price tag in 3 months.... |

| I tend to not trust professtional reviews because they are completely unhonest most of the time. Take CoD for example, they always give those shit games near perfect scores and it's nothing but the SAME FUCKING THING released over and over with slight differences. Not to mention ORC is fun if your a RE fan, if not, then go back to your pathetic CoD. |

| I agree. Reviewers always look at the technical side of a game and not how fun the game actually is. And some games are so bad that they are fun, like superman 64. |

| i never listen to reviews or take them seriously, because all these hacks get to play video games for a job and write reviews for them, but since they have played so many games, they have really high expectations for everything. for example, i read a review that said that this game looks like it should be on the PS2, they also said that the story is shallow, which i can kinda understand i mean i wasnt expecting an amazing and in depth story since it is just a backstory. but there was one thing they said that i thought was really stupid, they said that "all the missions are you just going from point A to point B." That right there is a stupid thing to say, i mean pretty much every game that isnt open world has point A point B missions. So i suggest everyone should get the game and play it at some point because its way more fun than what these scumbags say |

| I suppose a reason to say all you do is go from point a to b is because the game gets repetative with firefights and BOW's. There's no variety and that's all you feel like you're doing. In Resident Evil 4 there were complications, a large array of enemies that had intuitive reactions to gunshots, had different weak spots, and interesting boss fights that aren't just bullet sponges. Garrador was blind and you had to attract it with bells so you can get his claw stuck in the wall to give you just enough time to nail him in the back. Nemesis... You avoid enemies and shoot him until he kneels over. You shoot everything until its dead. You shot at Birkin's eye, but the idea of the Birkin fight is to run away from him. Every boss fight is just shooting them dead. |

but that shouldnt matter that much because its not like its RE6 or RE5 1/2. its just a game that isnt meant to think too hard about, its just meant to be played as a fun mindless game with some classic enemies and characters tossed in to give us seasoned fans something to make the game more interesting. while i will agree it has some flaws, that doesnt matter because to me its a really fun game. |

Obvious troll is obvious. Hey, I was serious . I've never played a game with that many glitches and my friend and I laughed my ass off so many times. |

Complete agreement. I just love the way you articulate it all into words Mercy. BTW, while ORC isn't very important to the series as far as really adding anything...the way it plays, control and gameplay-wise, really is pretty awful. I'm still playing it, and once I finish I can make a better assessment, but in the mean time, I'm very dissapointed with the overall product. And this one thing keeps pissing me off, they keep making the font in the games too damn small. It was pretty bad in RE5, because it was small and most of the time was on lighter and white backgrounds. In DSC it semed to get smaller and harder to read. In ORC it's ridiculous...I have to break out my magnifying glass just to read through the menu screens. |
