I must correct one thing: the game is not a reboot. It's a prequel. Dante is the same person as in previous games, just as a teenager.

I'm excited for DMC5. I'm a fan of DMC and I'm not disappoint at all. Yet.
Dante as a scumbag teenager. Elohel.

I don't know about that. I read an article from Gamesradar that stated DmC will be a reboot. He's not really a teenager, but just another Dante in a parallel universe. You can tell it's a reboot because on DmC, he's half-demon/angel. Unlike in DMC Dante has always been half-demon/human.

I'm a fan of Devil May Cry as well and used to bash DmC after I saw the debut of the trailer. Now as time passed, I'm more open minded about it. That's why I said some fans because there are others that are excited for DmC.
(Sorry for the off-topic post mods)

The initial idea was for it to be a reboot but at least from all that I have read is that it's going to be a prequel that shows how Dante came to be.

I still cant understand why Reveations was on handheld and ORC was on console. I played throguh the first three parts of revelations on my cousins DS nd the game was amazing. Nothing against ORC, but CAPCOM wouldve gotten some hardcore fans backon board with that one. Just saying.

Yeah, Capcom stopped caring about most of their fan bases a long time ago. The street fighter fans get the same game over and over with ''added features''. Capcom is telling Megaman fans that the Blue Bomber may have future titles down the line, which is all bullshit. They basically gave Mega Man the finger, so fans shouldn't hold their breath. Devil May Cry...well the only way some fans will feel screwed over, if the new reboot is successful and they stick with the new Dante and gameplay. *Sigh* Last and not least RE. It goes like this now. Capcom is the pimp, Resident Evil is the whore and we're the Johns. It saddens me that this beloved series of the survival horror genre, has been reduce to nothing but a get rich-quick gimmick. I mean look what they did to Dragons' Dogma. They're deliberately putting a code for a demo of RE6 if you buy the game. Instead of hyping it up, they used a cheap tactic just so some gamers would buy Dragon's Dogma for the demo. It's just not right to use RE like this now-a-days. Another thing, I don't understand how today's gamers get so damn addicted to CoD. I played Black Ops and it's alright, but it gets so boring after awhile.
I have COD black ops and modern warfare and I havent even finished both. Their good games, but just that. Id rather play story driven games, like AC, or unique fun games, something that RE is unfortunatley turning away from.

The 3ds couldnt handle ORC though.
Revelations might come out on console, if we all keep complaining enough.
I know i would like that. Even if it was just a port to the Wii, and didnt look any better, that'd be awesome.
I would demand the use of a GC controller though. I have no desire to use a wiimote/nunchuck combo, or the classic controller.

I'll be honest when I say I wish I hadn't reserved it. It's nice that it went back and gave you the ability to play on Umbrella's side but there are some things in it that annoy the living Hell out of me.
The main thing that I dislike is 'Covering'. I hate that it doesn't ask you it just makes you cover behind each and every little thing you come across. Even the walls! I find myself ninja-wall-walking more then I am getting anywhere...
I see an open area and attempt to explore it and here it makes me cling to the wall like I'm frakin Spiderman.
There's a few other things that annoy me as well but that is the main thing right there. Aside from having to revive you AI partners and provided they're not all dead and you're alone that task isn't too terribly tedious I suppose.

If it ever comes out on Wii, it's going to be on Wii U.

I wish Capcom would at least make a "HD" collection for Resident Evil Outbreak on PSN. Complete with online and everything. That would be a god send. :\

OMG yes! I never got the chance to play outbreak online because I didn't have internet service. When I did, the servers were closed. I think Capcom should've made Outbreak file 3.

I don't think RE needs a cover system, that's for sure.
I hated the stupid cover system in RE5, that one was garbage.

Ah shit. It better not play like ORC. I would REALLY hate that so much. It better play like RER, that's the only way to be.

I agree that RE5's cover system was even more garbage than ORC's, and that really is saying something.
I wouldn't say it ever really bothers me though, I hardly ever actually go on cover even when I try to (lucky me). Usually I don't need to either since I really only play heroes where you practically have god mode.

If the controls are like ORC, which I watched the RE6 trailer again last night, and they seemed like they could very well be...I will be most displeased. Those controls are complete shit and really ruin the game.
No way anybody can talk shit about RE4 after playing ORC.
