so i just watched Afterlife...

I just finnished watching Resident Evil: Afterlife and i can summarise it all into one word: terrible. I mostly hated that in the end when Wesker was fighting Chris and Claire that all of the fight moves were copied from RE5, I aslo didnt like the paper thin plot, after playing close attention i still ahd no idea of what the hell was going on. My favourite scene is when Alice and Claire were fighting the Executioner. You guys may have different views and opinions on the movie but whatever you throw at me, just remember that i didnt like it. Thats all i have to say about the movie so take it for what its worth.

It had a few good action scenes, but on the whole it was pretty dull.

It wasn't just a horrible RE movie, it was a really bad movie overall.

Also the fact that the enemies were just plastered in there for looks felt hollow. Zombies turning into majini that are able to burrow underground makes no god damn sense.

I've never seen Afterlife, but if I just read that correctly, you are saying zombies turned in majini and could go underground and land swim?

Not land swim... They just... somehow... burrowed under the building? You never see them do that but they suddenly burst from a tunnel beneath it. And not that they were actually "majini" but the zombies could, for some reason, do the thing with their mouths.

I think it's the worst RE movie.

To be honest it just might be one of the worst movies I have seen. Not the worst but god damn is it close.

I thought it was terrible, the last fight scenes made me so mad because they just copied all the fight moves and scenes from RE5, and the overall movie wasn't that entertaining. I can't wait to see how they screw up the next one.

All I can say is that I hope they at least TRY to make the next one worthwhile.

I doubt it though. Good thing we're getting Damnation.

What were you expecting going into it?

Basically, Anderson took the cosmetics of RE5 villains, and then just called them "zombies." The executioner is called the "axman zombie." It's like he didn't even play the game, just watched the commercials.

The parts that I did like were the executioners scene and some aspects of the final fight. I wasn't bothered by the fact that the fight moves were taken from RE5, just that the whole thing felt so anti-climactic (well, the whole movie seemed pointless). The adjule were awesome, and the song that was used is one of my favorite.

I actually though that Extinction was a really well-done production. Not masterpiece, but well-thought out, although the final fight again seemed a tad lacking. I had high hopes for Afterlife.

Hmm...The trailer looks interesting. I loved Degeneration. Hopefully Damnation is just as good, or better!

Also why is Umbrella's technology far beyond that of anything else? They are a pharmaceutical company are'nt they? And i also like (no i'm being sarcastic, i actually hate it). how arcadia has time lord technology (bigger on the inside, anyone else like Doctor Who)

also doesnt wesker get shot by a shotgun that shoots coins get stabbed in the head and shot countless times by Chris and Claire? Then why is he still alive in the next scene with no visible wounds?!

Wasn't it the executioner that got shot by the coin gun?

After watching the trailer a second time that movie looks like it's going to be good. The first time I watched it I wasn't so sure about it.

After watching some ORC gameplay and hearing Leon's new voice actor, I hope Paul Mercier (RE4) is used in Damnation rather than the new voice actor

Paul Mercier isn't doing the voice for Leon in ORC? Oh yeah now I'm definitely not looking forward to it lol.
