nite have you seen the trailor for afterlife. its looking good apart from the alice clones and the fact that wentworth miller looks nothing like chris.

As soon as I read the cast list many months back, I was very disappointed to read "Wentworth Miller" for Chris Redfield. I agree he looks nothing like Chris, and in the movie he has a buzz cut....... ?lol?

No, I haven't seen it. I don't want to. I know it's going to be crap because the movie series was ruined with the first one. They cannot come back now.

You need to accept the movies as a separate deviation of the series. Simply assuming their ruined just cause Jill and Chris aren't fighting Wesker in the Spencer Mansion isn't fair. Its a different spin on the series, which is also very good.

There was a nip slip in the first few minutes. Classy. The scariest part of the movie was a little English girl, deluded as being a queen. Every female in the movie was a clone of Rambo, while many of the guys were seemingly cloned from Richard Simmons panties...with frills. Not to mention not a single game character was in it. Obviously it was great. I must be mistaken.

The fight scene with the Licker wasn't cool?

Yea the movie had some serious flaws, but look how old it is. The 2nd and third movies did much much better.

But this is hardly the topic area to be discussing the movies. (As great as they may be )

Your logic is flawed. Age has nothing to do with anything. One of the best movies ever made is To Kill a Mockingbird. Look when it was made.

Well if we are gonna point out flaws like why the Woman are like Rambo and the guys are like Richard Simmons, then why don't we got all out and point out how the T-Veronica Virus manages to continuously mutate and grow its host, without the input of any energy or matter... Last time I checked Matter cannot be created or destroyed..... So is this a reason too hate the series?

So what i want to know is, you know that its being released in 3d,does that mean it will not be released as a normal dvd as well. And if not will i be able to play a 3d dvd on a normal dvd or a ps3 or will it only play on 3d dvds. Also what date will it be released to buy. Thanks for any information.

Of course it will be released as a regular DVD. It will be just like any other movie, just that it will also be made for 3D.

Saying that is a flaw is like saying "Hobbits aren't real" is a flaw of Lord of the Rings. While the TV Virus is not realistic, like much of RE, having every woman be extremely terse, tough, and manly is just cheesy and stupid. I think the fact that it is supposed to be "cool" and "hot" makes it even worse.

Not with the first one, maybe the second, definately the 3rd, but not the first.

This new one is going to be crap though...the Executioner from RE5 is there, and it looks like Majini are there too. Not that any of that will keep me from watching it at least once though.

Yeah I think one of the Shrek movies was like that too. Not to mention Alice In Wonderland...among other movies.

I loved all three movies. I can't wait for the 4th one.

It's all a matter of opinion. Wether its good or not is not an objective fact, rather a relative opinion. I like em, some people don't. Some people are into wet napkin fetishes, I'm not. Some people like Opra, I don't. Its relative so arguing one way or anther is kind of pointless.

The movies are not parallel to the games, just perpendicular, so judging them based on the likeness too the games is even dumber.

But for the record, the movies are sweet.

And hey, some people love Rambo Women, so for them the movies are the best thing ever. Some people only like Male Protagonists (for some suspicious reason), so they wouldn't like the movie.

Personally I cannot stand movies that have little kids as the protagonist. Like that new one coming out "The last Air Bender"..... Yeeeeeeah not gonna go see that.

Tell me about it. That movie looks awful. But the trailer for Afterlife is amazing! I can't wait.

Other then the fact I find Milla as hot as hell I love it because of the story. I just call the movies a ''what if'' scenario.

Both the games and the movies have a great story line and I love both. The fact that there is basically two versions of resident evil, makes resident evil two times better.

Of course I'd like too see some movies based on the games too, but I'm not spiteful that they aren't. We'll leave it too CGI too solve that problem.

Yeah. I liked Degeneration but it could have done with out the drama.

The movies RE universe is just different, just like the novels universe. Of course when comparing the movies and games, whether you can get over the fact that the movies aren't the 'same' as the games, then you can compare them as two different entities, in which case the games come out on top. Their story is way better than the movies, by far, no comparision, no bias, and opinions aside.

I can agree that I prefer the game story line over the movies. I prefer the books over the games. The games over the movies. However this does not mean the movies were bad. On a scale of 1 too 10, the movies are a 10. The books and games are an 11. lol.

Call me crazy but I like the movie story better.

Like I said, its all a matter of Opinion. What appeals to one person doesn't too another. I love the movies, I've probably watched over 100 hours of resident evil movies over the last 5 years :p They are great. After life is gonna be great. Gotta say having Wesker in it makes it that much better thou, so the original characters do have influence.
