Oh.....I'd consider getting fat, just to hear the difference. If you don't know though, just listen to sombody like Richard Waugh or Orsen Welles, announcer's even. It's a really cool quality.
That's another difference between Waugh's Wesker and Douglas'. Another reason why Douglas' voice sounds inferior, as that character.

Honestly weight does not really make that much of a difference. I can immitate people who are obesely huge, and I can immitate people who are very tiny. It's just a way of mimicking the way other talk, lisps and what not. If anything weight only makes your Base tone sound better, but I can munipulate my normal voice around to sound like a 50 year old man.

Base tone, perhaps. It's something that just sounds cooler, that's all I know.
DC Douglas just sounds....IDK.
Not a huge, huge difference, but it's there. And I like the way it sounds.

I get that many people think that being fatter makes peoples voice deeper, but you would be surprised how many people who look like Jack Skellington and can sound like earl ray jones.

Of course. I mean, Templeman is pretty skinny. I myself am pretty skinny too, though I can pull off a deeper voice. I've heard plenty of comments about it.
Some of it comes down to the voice you were given. Actually, pretty much all of it. Weight though, in some cases, really can just add a certain quality. I guess that's a positive way to look at obesity....?

Perhaps. I have not really heard it, some fat people sound no different than some skinny kids, but I think I know what you are talking about.

I remember a comedian, not sure if you are familiar with Patten Oswald? He mentioned it, I've noticed it ever since.

Idk in my opinion any talented voice actor can make him/herself sound like anything. I am not that talented in my opinion, but people at my school seem to enjoy my voices. If yall had skype we could voice chat and I could probably understand the fat thing you are talking about. Text is harder to interpret

Just listen to the likes of Orsen Welles or Richard Waugh. Those are the only examples i can think of, but if you aren't getting it....that's probably you're best bet. I don't know what has Welles....the original Casino Royale, Citizen Kane.
As for Waugh, just listen to his Wesker, versus DC Douglas'.

DC douglas was not great as wesker. he just made wesker sound crazy and over the top.

When he got angry(his Wesker), he sounded like a little kid or teenager or something, not a grown man. I expected more from the character, how dissapointing.

Speaking of bad voice acting....Resident evil 1...holy shit is that bad...Wesker is the only character in the game who sounds like he is atleast TRYING to act.

Maybe it's just because you hear him a lot less, which is less time to hear bad voice acting. They were all pretty horrible though. Barry wasn't too bad...just bad lines.

Their inflection was so...not even acting.
and no I heard less of a lot more characters and they all sucked equally. I meant that the guy who did wekser atleast seemed like he was acting, not just reading the script for the first time out loud. But even he has some stupid parts where his inflection is awful.
Jill was on of the worst
