Do you remember the first teaser Mass? It couldn't have been racist, I mean we didn't even know the location at the time, nor had we gotten a good look at the enemies...only shadows...

Yeah, like the 07 extended. One enemy in particular that really annoyed me that he was added, was the majini with blonde hair and blue eyes...how obvious of them. I can't believe Capcom let that get to them, I mean they must have been really worried that they were going to lose sales or something.

It was just a bunch of bs. Capcom should've stood their ground on this one. The true fans would've still bought the game.

Yep. They do seem overly concerned with what others think though, the 'others' being people other than the RE fans. They shouldn't dictate the games, we should. I mean Capcom surely should be trying to get more people into their games, but by pissing off, and really just offending their real fans who already spend tons of money on their products, not cool.

Sheva's AI was one of the best because she was never invincible and she played just as big a part (during gameplay) as a human partner would and she works very well. You don't find that in games very often at all.

Sometimes I wish she was invincible...I hate restarting something because of her stupidity.

Perhaps it wasn't her AI as much, as it was being forced to work with, and even depend and rely on her that made her annoying, gameplay wise.

Worst part has got to be when you have to pull all of those....levers?

There was one where she holds onto the lever on the 2nd floor, and you have to go down, and pull the one on the first floor...I could kill her right there.

Enemies start to come out, and she runs away from the switch, so then I have to hold the one on the 1st floor, long enough, without being attacked by those Type 3 Plaga infectees, and those annoying ass spiders that latch onto you, so that she can run back to the other switch first.

Of course if she gets it, not big deal, if she doesnt', I get grabbed by a spider, she runs down to save me, we have to spend 10 minutes killing everything, then we can assign what to pull again....

was that the part in the boat?? yes that one was annoying... but the part in the lab with the round elevator thingy was the most annoying part for me... one minute sheva was all 'we need more ammo!' ... awww... had to give sheva the guns

I make Sheva my pack mule. I don't give her any guns or anything, she's such a chore. Heck the AI is freaking stupid. and this video basically sums up my thoughts on Sheva and her AI. You cannot play the game by yourself and enjoy it with Sheva's stupid freaking Artificial Intelligence.

Omg I love Croshaw. lol. He's hilarious, even if some of the things he says are just not fully true. Like implaying that RE4 was more creative than RE5 which is giggle worthy. I mean, sure it changed the series a lot, but just because it happened to be the one who gave us new gameplay, it doesn't mean RE5 should be looked down on for not changing it again. I love the part where he describes running away from your partner with more fear than the actual monsters give you lol. And where he says "talk about sidestepping a pothole only to fall off a bridge." Classic!

P.S. Has anyone here played the games he has made? The one's with the cat burglar Trilby? They are freakin' good!

I have played every game in the Chzo Mythos (including Trilby: The Art of Theft), 1213 and some point&click games I don't remember the name of right now.

I even mentioned Chzo Mythos as one of the horror games I like besides RE on the horror game thread.

Those games are epic. It's the # days a whatever games. Like 5 days a stranger. 6 days a sacrifice. etc.

...7 Days a Sceptic and Trilby's Notes. Gotta play through them again some time, the story is just awesome. Have you ever played his other point and click games? I think some of them only work on DOS, though. Good thing I have DOS Box

I don't mind Sheva's character, but the fact that she was a newcomer in an important part of the series plot wise was really annoying. The fact the it was Chris and Sheva, not Chris and Jill that killed Wesker was just........wrong imo. What i think they should've done was, after saving Jill, have her replace Sheva as Chris's partner for the final chapter.

At least have Jill shoot the other rocket. I mean...Dear god in heaven.

I just felt like it was a lame attempt at Capcom to get us to like her. Like I've said, she was forced on us, and that was just one Prime Rib example of it.

Oh yeah, and I still don't understand why Jill didn't go with Chris & Sheva....I mean she ends up passing out anyway...but.

well jill, she had to change her hair color lol.. ahmm but really i think she researched how to kill wesker or maybe that drug he's been using, in the boat she said that that wesker could die if he had taken more or less of that drug

As Nite has stated, the AI wasn't that bad, or rather it is one of the best out there. I can somewhat agree with that.

It's probably just how closely you have to work with, and rely on her.

Jill knew about PG67AW, but for some reason, she didn't tell Chris about it, I bet Sheva lingering during their scene made her forget.

Either way, RE5's ending really doesn't make any sense. It really makes you see how poorly and quickly Capcom changed everything up.

She didn't need to stay behind, then pass out, then have to find a way to tell Chris later on....then all that stuff with the guy in the chopper getting killed, and her & Josh doing their thing...
