well jill, she had to change her hair color lol.. ahmm but really i think she researched how to kill wesker or maybe that drug he's been using, in the boat she said that that wesker could die if he had taken more or less of that drug As Nite has stated, the AI wasn't that bad, or rather it is one of the best out there. I can somewhat agree with that.
It's probably just how closely you have to work with, and rely on her.
Jill knew about PG67AW, but for some reason, she didn't tell Chris about it, I bet Sheva lingering during their scene made her forget.
Either way, RE5's ending really doesn't make any sense. It really makes you see how poorly and quickly Capcom changed everything up.
She didn't need to stay behind, then pass out, then have to find a way to tell Chris later on....then all that stuff with the guy in the chopper getting killed, and her & Josh doing their thing... after getting that thing out of her chest, she wen't back to being a bitch she was in RE3... idiot jill What was wrong with Jill in RE3? Other than her voice. |

| In the movies, Apocolypse I mean, they had made the weather forecast for that day hot outside, to make her choice of casual clothes more appropriate. |

Maybe jill was Moonlighting S.T.A.R.S by being hooker, hence the apparel. Just because the world is ending doesn't mean we can't take a minute to have fun and make extra bucks |

| Holy cow Spike, when you said that "there's always several active topics" I didn't know I have to keep my ass on every topic I post in I mean holy crap where was my last post here? I don't even know! Anyway... I skimmed some—yeah that's right skimmed—posts and yeah there are new feelings that arise and make me say: "Man, Capcom really whimped out when it came to reinventing the series with Resident Evil 5." You look at some of the first trailers and you see things in there that scare the crap out of you, like this one majini waving around this big friggin stick thing with a giant fucking rock tied to it, knocking down wooden pillars, collapsing stairs and obscuring paths in a barely lit house, filled with screaming majini that so desperately want to wrestle you to the floor, eat your face off, and chop you up into bacon bits for having a great hair-do. Oh yeah and the majini had grappling hooks that brought raised footing such as the bus you usually hop on in Public Assembly to break time in Mercenaries. But what happened? To start things off Capcom was being called Racist for making a white person murder black people. Well they never really thought of that. It was just the country's ethnicity and that's all that mattered to them, they didn't think they were being racist. They did a lot to dodge the comments by making Sheva your partner. If you notice in the first and second trailer they released; Chris is by himself. It wasn't supposed to be a freaking co-op game to begin with and they sure as hell better not make Resident Evil 6 a co-op game, but it seems like they went too far with that to turn back now. I mean people are just going to expect Resident Evil 6 to be a co-op. So they turned a bit character—Sheva—into a main lead. And here's where the fun begins! Did you know Gears of War was inspired by Resident Evil 4? I'm sure most of you know that but to see that Resident Evil 5 was inspired by Gears of War? I mean it's blatantly obvious! In Gears you can pick up downed team mates, when you get downed, you can wiggle around for a while and tap "A" continuously to wiggle faster. In Resident Evil 5 when you die you go into dying mode. What the hell? You just got crushed by a 2 ton hybrid of an axe and a meat hammer and you're getting back up!? To walk around?! I mean at least in Gears you crawled on the floor bleeding out but now I'm just really getting off my point. How is it that Resident Evil 4 inspired Gears of War, then Gears of War inspired Resident Evil 5? The developers should know better: if they can start trends then they don't have to start following them. They make new ones. There was a point in time where lighting was a critical factor in Resident Evil 5, where dehydration was so important, where Sheva wasn't trying to dry hump your leg or follow you around like fucking Pikachu from Pokemon Yellow Version and give you back sass when you want her to do something. There were interesting level designs like a sunken ship cast into the desert sands; there were challenging level designs which required team work—not from Sheva—from the entire BSAA to get on heavy machine guns and fire at an army of those giant troll ass nuggets. There was concept art of some sort of betrayal that was more obvious between Wesker and Excella that revealed Chris, Jill, and Sheva working as a unit. What happened to that? Lets look back at the time where Chris and Sheva take off the mind controlling device off of Jill's chest (an obvious excuse for cleavage), what happened? Jill: "No Chris, you're the only one who can stop him! (Wesker)" Oh... oh really. Chris is the only one who can stop Wesker? What the hell is that supposed to mean!? Bullets seem to work just fine on him! I don't see the problem with Jill joining Chris and Sheva; even in the final version. And where the hell did Josh come from? Was he just following them and then taking a completely alternative route filled with significantly more majini and a random friggin executioner that we haven't seen since the beginning of the game? Where did he come from? Just watch they go back to America and Jill marries Josh. I mean that's how unimportant Jill seemed to Chris. Sure he was asking for Jill since like the beginning of the game but when he actually had her in his hands he was like: "Okay. Cya later dude." And remember that guy with a giant stick with the rock tied to it? Guess what they replaced his weapon with in the final product. A chainsaw. That's right; it makes me feel that Croshaw was right about Resident Evil 5 just going over the cliff notes of Resident Evil 4. Just for reminders sake take a look at the second trailer again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpIWhAAiNRc&feature=relatedIf you don't agree with me that the version above would have been a much better Resident Evil then there's something wrong with you. It seemed as if Resident Evil 5 was just riding off the wave of Resident Evil 4 and well... it's the best selling game in the franchise. What do you think will happen in the next Resident Evil? Appeal to the fans? Or appeal to what sells? Keep in mind. This is Capcom we're talking about. Huge money grubbers. |

@Mercy: I agree with everything. And yeah, Chris is the only one who could stop Wesker? That makes no sense. In all reality, Jill is the one who has the most experience with Resident Evil. She has RE1, RE3, the Russian Facility incident, the Spencer Estate incident, and her whole BSAA experience behind her. |

She had just as much experience as Chris, not to make Chris' experience seem insignificant, as he had a lot on his plate too, RE1, CVX, UC, RE5, of course the stuff in between, like going to Europe, BSAA, etc. @Mercy, I just skimmed what you posted, but it sounds pretty much like an echoe of what I, and others have said is the case with RE5. I agree though. As I've said, it was so annoying for a single person, an ignorant, moron actually, to make a stupid remark about RE5, having no experience with the series(this is speculation as IDK for sure, but no fan of the series would say something so ignorant). |

Just sarcasm in general, he should speak it fluently. He was definatly too serious, but perhaps it was for a reason. Maybe he wasn't pleased with Angela getting such a huge role on her first appearance either. |

He saved her too many times, like with the falling glass....she was just a whiny, tempramental, annoying, biatch, on par with the likes of Sheva. |

| Am I going to have to rant about two Sheva's? No... No. All I have to say is that everyone in that she just looked like a cheap porn star in that movie.
I hated Leon's mo-cap, he looked so stiff, in Resident Evil 4 he always looked aware. In Degeneration, he looked really tired...
And Leon wouldn't have given a lecture about shooting zombies in the head, he would just say: "shoot em in the head." The writers really don't know Leon, the mo-cap doesn't know Leon, I'm sure they were all just trying to ride the wave Resident Evil 4 made. Though I did like the "bloopers" with the voice actors complaining about their wage or Leon being too scared to go separate ways with Angela.
But wait, that brings something else up. Ashley asked Leon if they could do "overtime" *wink wink* and he refused and said that Ada is "a part of me I can't let go." ... Except if there's Angela? Really? Did the writers like miss that? Did they even play Resident Evil 2 & 4? Do they know who Ada is? |
