Not sure why they did that to begin with. In the Code Veronica novel, Alexia seemed to have some wierd telekinetic powers...it was very different from the game towards the end.

It might just be used as an expansion pack to explain what happened between the fall of Umbrella in 2003 untill they raid the Spencer Estate in 2006. Remember we did not hear much about Chris and Jill after the fall of Umbrella in Russia.

Or another possiblity is that this game could be based about 1 or 2 years after the events resident evil 5? I highly doubt the game would be set in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 or even 2003 because Chris and Jill look older.

The trailer is confusing becaue it looks like a replica of the spencer estate but on a ship? Confusing.

Yeah, well Capcom didn't go into too much detail for Chris & Jill after 2003, until the Spencer Estate, only going over the creation of the BSAA and all that, as well as their missions to stop BOWs all around the world.

As for the ship...it almost seems like the Spencer Rain...which makes me want to play through Dead Aim again, to see the interior, and the exterior.

Well I think the game probably takes place in 2005. I am saying that becasue Chris has a huge build in that game and did not have big muscles by the time of the fall of umbrella in 2003.

I think its kind of unlikely the game takes place after RE5 though.

Definately after 2003. There is a time period where Chris got built, between 2003 & 2006, a gap there where he started working out I guess.

Obviously Chris & Jill are one of the closest relationship, and partnerships we have seen in the series, and considering all he went through during RE5 in order to try and save Jill, it almost seems unreasonable to have these two pointing guns at eachother, which makes me think it takes place sometime between the 2003 & 2006 time period.

Maybe around the time Leon went to europe? I think most likely though 2005 since its take more than year a to build muscles like chris has.

I would personally rule out it taking place after RE5, but that's me. As I said, I wouldn't picture Chris pointing a gun at Jill, especially after what he went through in RE5...

Well anythings possible Nite. But yeah the game probably takes place in 2005. About 4 years before RE5 and not too long before the events of LIN.

2005, same year as Degeneration. Maybe, I'm not going to be too specific with my guesses, I'm just going to go with between 2003 & 2006.

Jill and Chirs probablay still stuck in the BSSA after RE5 so they could be on a new mission in revelations right?

I think since the game will come out in 2011 then that could be the year the game is set in. Its been over a year since the events of RE5 so by 2011 Jill and Chris have probably got back on track with thier mission of fighting bioterrorisim.

It could, but I prefer to think between the years I named already...until we get something official that proves otherwise...I'm pretty much just going to stick with that as my hypothesis of what the game might be like or when it takes place, and just the overall setting.

The events of RE5 were 2009. They were supposed to be ten years after the Mansion Incident, so 2008, but I think it got carried over a year because of how long it took Capcom to release the game.

Who knows what they are doing afterwards, they could be fighting in the BSAA, or perhaps they got married....we'll find out, or if this takes place before RE5, we might not.

Doubt they got married. I think there just friends although maybe deep down they did have feelings for each other but maybe not take it as far as a relationship if you know what I mean

Not too long ago I was arguing that myself, a debate on here, but I'm started to think there could be something a bit more...

It's just a thought anyway. I personally prefer the thought of them being close friends, or "Partners" as Chris would always put it. You got to love a great male/female partnership such as that, Mulder & Schully, Booth & Brennan, Bonnie & Clyde, etc.

Most of those turned into romantic relationships anyway....so who knows.

When did Chris and Jill first meet? 1996 . So they have known each ot herfor a very long time. I think by now they would be in a relationship if they knew each other for all those years.

Not sure, that's when STARS was established, so it could be.

But just because they hadn't gotten it on prior to RE5, as far as we know, doesn't mean they wouldn't afterwards, I mean they probably got closer after that kind of thing.
