They will be $19,99 each and come complete with every bit of DLC and extra content released for them. I'm kind of surprised CVX and Revelations aren't getting the same treatment, because with those added the entirety of the main series, excluding RE3, would be playable on modern consoles when RE2 Remake releases. There's still time, though, so who knows. The games are going to be released digitally at first with a physical edition promised on a later date. I wonder if the physical edition will include all three, like the recent Origins Collection with REmake and Zero.

This is why Capcom refused to make RE5 and RE4 backwards compatible on Xbox One. Bullshit. How much money did they expect to take without adding ant additional content? As much as I like RE5 and RE4, the trailer seemed so self-fallating.
Seeing how most hate Re6 and everyone owns more than two copies of Re4, Re5 is the only one I'm interested in getting.

Well, Greg Mueller said it best: "Too much growth weakens an organization, which what should be important becomes overshadowed by greed. Mass production?! Ridiculous! One masterpiece is enough!"

Same here. I didn't hate RE6 but I don't need another copy when the one I have is already working fine and I definitely don't need another RE4. Still, I don't feel like buying a digital version and a complete set would be a waste when I would only be playing 1/3 of the games. Well, maybe Mercs in RE6 since I never bothered to buy more than one map in the original game. Still not reason enough to get it though.

all of that is spot on. RE5 will be released without a single player offline story mode though (yeah, that was me making a capcom joke)

Apparently Capcom is releasing all of the games seperately and in physical form. Wonder what's gone into them? It wasn't until Origins that we got Remake and Zero as physical copies outside of Japan and they never released Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies in physical form here.
Hm, that is more interesting. I do prefer physical copies over digital copies, so it's nice that they're doing that at the very least. Maybe they just want to expand their sales and figured with combined physical and digital they make more.

Capcom finally realized that what is good for us is also good for them?

RE6's rerelease came out without fanfares and was just the exact same game on newer systems (with all DLC included). Now that RE5 is coming out, they seem to have done some slight changes at least. The main game remains seemingly untouched, as do the trophies, and all DLC will be included. The part that does receive some changes is the Mercenaries mode, as they have combined the original RE5 Mercs with Mercenaries Reunion like a red herb with a green herb, forming Mercenaries United. On top of that all versions also include the previously PC exclusive Mercenaries No Mercy mode, which is basically just Mercenaries on Pro difficulty with no co-op.
RE4 release date for PS4/Xbone is going to be August 30th. Not really much else to say about it, really. We've all played through it at least once by now. Considering the current gen version of RE5 came with a new Mercenaries mode and RE6 with all its DLC, this is probably the least impressive of the bunch, especially since it has already been upgraded to HD once.
