If the english voice acting is considered to be one of the worst, I can't imagine the japanese one . Anyway, thanks for sharing Mass.

They never actually used Japanese voice acting in the JAP version. They kept the English voice acting along with Japanese subtitles. They did plan on using Japanese voice acting for the game but scrapped the idea. Below is a video of Resident Evil with the original Japanese voice actors, it's bad voice acting but Japanese sounds far better than the English counterpart. I think even bad voice acting in Japanese sounds good because it's such an amazing language and sounds the part in any situation

I can agree on that one.

That might not be the case from a Japanese perspective.

I contributed everything apart from the Queen references, the Japanese voice acting thing, the inspiration from Dawn of the Dead and the fact that the Dewey and Geltzer concepts were later used in Dino Crisis. Goes to show that I should propably get around to finishing that game some day.

That's actually a large chunk of the video; as well as a good thing to be bragging about.

Thanks I pride myself with having a ridiculous amount of information on the series' past.
Somehow I still manage to surprise myself by digging up something completely new on occasion.

You're right, it isn't. They hate their own bad voice acting and generally usually hate their voice actors all together. They love English voice actors and even find our cheesy voice actors amazing. They feel that English voice actors put much more feeling and emotion into their scripts. I can agree on that but I always feel that Japanese put a lot of emotion in their words, you can hear it.

Japanese voice actors was like crying, shouting, panting when they start voicing they're characters.
