Chris' Lighter

Okay, so during the Mansion Incident(REmake not the original RE1), Chris carried a plain, gold Zippo lighter.

Now in CVX, Claire starts the game with a gold Zippo as well, and she later generously gives it to Rodrigo Juan Raval, the Umbrella guy who let's her out of her solitary cell.

She mentions that it was her brothers. And much later, as Chris, if you kill the gulp worm, who swallowed Rodrigo, it'll spit him back out, and he'll actually give Chris his lighter back.

It goes full circle. But my question is, if this is the same lighter, how did Claire get ahold of it? She hadn't seen Chris, he was in Europe and had been MIA for months. Just thought I'd point that out.

She may well have seen him immediately after the mansion incident. There is a fuzzy area during that time.

When she was e-mailing Leon, she mentioned that Chris had been missing for 3 months, and CVX takes place during December, so there's a doorway of what, 2 months, from July to September. Pretty much right before the Raccoon City Incident.

Just seems like something they would've maybe mentioned, if they had seen eachother.
