| Wasn't there something about files for Sheva being in RE6's code? I was expecting her to make a cameo or something. |

| Was she even mentioned at all? I can't remember hearing her name once.
Ah well, at least one series tradition is alive and well. |

| I think they just used her character model as a programming reference or something like that. |

| At best she'll be mentioned in files, not get a whole shout out in game (like my homegirl Claire). Still, I liked Sheva and it'd be cool if she fgot a spin off with a character from Revelations or something (haven't played revelations, so don't spoil if everyone died lol) |

| I think she was only in RE5 cos it was in Africa and due to folk implying it was racist (whoever they were). |

| Regardless of the reason for her implementation, I like Sheva. I would like to see her again. |

| Sheva was mentioned in the files. According to the files on RE.net; she contacted Piers during Chris's disappearance to see if he needed some help. No in-game reference though. |

That's not entirely true because she was in the original concept for the game too. |

| She's also a very important and significant character. She's one of the characters that killed Wesker and that undoubtedly counts for something. She deserves another game at least.

| I don't remember hearing or reading her (Jill's) name. Which was kind of annoying. For example why was Pier's and the BSAA Redshirt Army the only one's searching for Chris?
Why isn't Jill mentioned to be looking for him? Even in some throwaway line. I mean I understand in the context of 'it's a game' and that Piers is a player character, but Chris and Jill are long time partners in the series and the two clearly have deep feelings for one another whether it's romantic or not really doesn't matter, the two are clearly closer than mere acquaintances.
It gets even more bizarre when you remember in Resident Evil 5 that Chris never stopped looking for Jill. So what, does Jill not care about Chris at all? Is that what Capcom want us to take from this? And the same goes for Sheva. She should be mentioned explicitly by name that she's also looking for Chris, even if she doesn't appear.
It's lazy writing. If you can't keep continuity (in all aspects) with the media before the current one you shouldn't be getting paid to write fiction. You don't have to go in depth but if something doesn't make sense within it's own context (my point being that Jill would be looking for Chris) then it shouldn't be there. |

Awesome. I had no idea. Is Jill mentioned? Unfortunately no. The only past characters that were mentioned were Sheva and Claire. If I'm not mistaken; I think Claire was said to have visited Sherry quite a bit and she even sent a letter. Here's the letter though along with one part of Chris's file: - Quote :
- Chris Redfield began his military career as a pilot in the United States Air Force. His unwillingness to compromise brought him into direct conflict with superiors. Unable to settle these differences, Chris retired from the Air Force.
He was then scouted by Raccoon City's special forces (S.T.A.R.S.) because of his superior fighting skills and pilot qualifications. After what came to be known as the Mansion Incident on the outskirts of Raccoon City, Chris set off on his own to stop Umbrella and make the world aware of the threat of bioweapons.
Following Umbrella's dissolution in 2003, Chris decided to join the BSAA and continue the fight. This brought him to Africa in 2009, and into direct conflict with his former boss, Albert Wesker. Chris killed Albert during the operation, and he was finally able to put to rest all the ghosts of Umbrella and Raccoon City.
In 2012, during an operation in Edonia, all his BSAA soldiers except for Piers Nivans are turned into B.O.W.s. Chris suffered from head trauma that led to amnesia, and it wasn't until six months later that Piers was able to find him again. Chris was a large part of the BSAA, and it was a big shock to the organization when he was reported missing from the hospital. The search for him was led by Piers and all branches of the BSAA helped in any way they could.
Below is an e-mail sent from the West African Branch to Piers during this time. --- Recipient: Piers Nivans, BSAA North American Branch Sender: Sheva Alomar, BSAA West African Branch
I was very sad to hear of Chris' recent disappearance. He was such a large part of the BSAA, and he was a very important person to me, as well. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. The BSAA West African Branch is always here for your support. There's quite a bit of stuff that sheds some light on RE6 and the movies (and the files in the game hold only half the content). For instance, the reason why the BSAA didn't take part in the incident in Degeneration was because the government told them to stay out of it. Also, thanks to Claire; Chris and Leon finally met (this happened before RE6 btw). |

| I was one of those who detested Sheva with a passion, but now that I look back, maybe I was a little harsh, it's mostly her AI's, and how can I bash her now when even the RE6 AI can a bit of a dick as well, not as much as Sheva, but I was dying, and a Mr. Kennedy didn't come to save me for about 7 seconds, but he was just standing there.
Sheva I feel, is going to have what I am going to call, "The Rebecca Chambers Incident" I think Sheva will only have that one major game on her, (Though Rebecca technically had two... Technically) but she'll re-appear in other less important stuff like Mercs, or briefly referenced, because of the community.
What makes me change my mind about her being a pain in the ass is that info that she was concerned on Chris' disappearence, it means she is still looking out for Chris, even if there is nothing wrong in Africa anymore.
And also, I have to agree about the Jill thing, what a dickish impression you're putting on to Jill, Capcom, "My old partner is missing? No f***s given."
I suggest that we raise an army of Sheva lovers to bring her back, besides, I saw a topic on the RE.net that raised a petition that wanted her back in Mercs, and even Karen Dyer (Sheva's VA if you must know) signed it, saying she'd love Sheva to be back. |

I would really rather have her in RE7 than a RE6 DLC. but I guess a small step for now can lead to a bigger one later |
