Resident evil books

Ah ok it's the summer and I'm on vacation so I lose track of time.

I only read Umbrella Conspiracy because i'm too lazy to try and find the other books.

The other ones are great you should get them

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X By: S.D Perry

These are all the books ik off that she wrote on resident evil.

I've read all of Perry's novels and all three of the movie novels and ironically enough the third movie film made more sense than the movie itself.. >.<

Thought I'd throw this piece of news on the book thread too.

According to the actors of Damnation, we're gonna have a character from the novels debut on the big screen in addition to Ada Wong and the already confirmed Leon. The name was not mentioned but they did say it was a female character.

I did some research on significant characters in the novels and came up with this list of possibilities:

• Rebecca Chambers, as she starred in two of the original novels in addition to the novelization of Zer0 (Zero Hour, Caliban Cove, Underworld)
  
• Karen Driver, STARS Exeter Branch (Caliban Cove)
  
• Silvia, a passenger on The Liberty (To the Liberty)
  
• Emily Ran, a scientist trying to create a cure for t-virus (Rose Blank)
  
• Alma Hart, a girl who survived Raccoon City and the object of research for Emily Ran (Rose Blank)
  
• Rain Rubens, a student from Gadywall Island (Beast of the Northern Seas)
  
• Kate, Rain's roommate (Beast of the Northern Seas)
  
• Mylène Beardsley, current head of the Beardsley family which helped establish Umbrella (Beast of the Northern Seas)

It depends on how they are going to work with the novel canon if characters like Karen are still alive or not.

You know... If they're really gonna have an original character from the novels could this mean the shadowy guy might also be from there? Even better, what if it's Trent?

Nope. I don't think anyone has as they have never been translated into anything but German. Even the Project Umbrella post about the translation of Beast of the Northern Seas is a year old and hasn't been updated.

I'd buy the actual books if they ever were translated. Maybe in the wake of this movie? Who knows. I base all my info on stuff I have gathered online from various small excerpts of the novels.

They always did say if another cgi film was made that Rebecca would be in it, but Trent.... Maybe finally after all these years we might see what happened to Umbrella because of his meddling behind the scenes that would be kick ass. =P

I was actually worried about that for a second but then I realized that they would've said "from the live action movies" or something. The books about those are not as known.

Wait...I have just found out that there are novels about the RE movies. Anyway, I just found Zero Hour and i'm begining to read it.

well I'm sure about that.

If they are going into books, they need more characters. Yes, from time to time I have read a Star Trek book. I know, lame. But, there is only one main character Alice and only in one era with Alice. They need more character equal to Alice to make it last say 20 or 30 years. And I do not see that going to happen.

Well in the normal books there is more than one charater. If your just talking about the movie books then yeah they need more than one.
